Apple iPad 2 Out Of Stock At UK Apple Stores, Authorized Resellers

The Apple iPad 2 went on sale in the UK 24 hours ago and stock has already run dry.

Stock at Apple’s flagship stores in the region, specifically in Regent Street and Covent Garden have completely dried up, while Apple’s stores in Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol also confirmed that no more units are available.

The company’s flagship stores also confirmed that they won’t receive any more stock over the weekend and Monday may also see no new stock.

Other locations have also run dry including PC World and Curry’s, Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse.

Users looking to grab a unit from the online Apple Store are also out of luck, with units showing a 3-4 week wait period.

Also sold out of iPad 2 units are all Cancom stores, a large Apple Reseller in Scotland, England, and Wales.
