The Daily Show host backed Bryon Noem all the way after questionable photos and messages of him were leaked earlier this week. On the other hand, Megyn Kelly aired her doubts about the scandal and pointed out possible political ramifications surrounding Kristi Noem.
Desi Lydic took a lighthearted approach to the news that the ex-Homeland Security head’s husband had sent over $25,000 to women online. According to The Wrap, she commented on Bryon’s “cross-dressing double life”, saying that she couldn’t fathom that Kristi “is the less messy one in their marriage.”
She also couldn’t resist referring to Kristi’s “ICE Barbie” look. She added, “But you know what? You live your truth, Bryon. Oh, she can dress up, and you can’t? F— that!”
Lydic also mentioned Kristi’s own shortcomings when she joked, “If she had an affair, you have a free pass. You can do whatever you want. I support you…”

In the meantime, Megyn Kelly delivered her verdict in the ongoing scandal where Kristi Noem’s husband was exposed for cross-dressing while speaking to women who fit within his “bimbofication” fetish. The journalist also shared why she doesn’t believe Noem who says that she didn’t know about his online activities.
On the Tuesday episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the journalist talked about the “secret crossdresser who wears gigantic fake breasts and wears pink hot pants while he chats online with fetish models.” Kelly thought there was a good chance that Noem knew about Bryon’s kink, because of her own alleged infidelity.
While discussing the salacious photos of Bryon Noem, Kelly said, “I don’t know what that is, but I can speak for all women in America when I say we don’t want to see her husband doing it.” She then pointed to Kristi’s own scandal this year saying it “puts a totally different spin on the affair she’s allegedly been having with Corey Lewandowski.”

Kelly doubled down on her assertion that there was a link between Kristi’s knowledge of her husband’s reported cross-dressing antics and her alleged affair with Corey Lewandowski. “Who could blame her? It feels almost noble at this point. I mean, like it’s not noble. They’re both married and have children and all the bit, I’m just saying it definitely gives a different look at it, because you never know what’s going on in someone’s marriage.”
Earlier in the conversation, Kelly shared how hundreds of messages were uncovered and published between him and three of the women he was talking to. Kelly then pointed to why these chats are a matter of national concern.
“It makes her subject to blackmail.” She said that if “these pictures and this fetish by her married husband [were found], so can our adversaries, and who knows who could go to Kristi Noem when she was DHS Secretary, and say, ‘You will do the following things, or we will run to the New York Times with these photos,'” Kelly shared with her audience.

Kelly also read some of the messages exchanged between Bryon Noem and the women. She observed how different these activities are in modern times, noting that when Playboy and Penthouse were still relevant, it was separated from everyday life. However, now these forums can be accessed at any time and place. She added that Bryon’s actions were a “form of cheating. There’s no question.”
The talk show host also reminded the audience that there would be a fallout after the scandal was published and “we’re going to have to deal with this because she’s still in the government.” After President Donald Trump removed Kristi Noem from her post as the DHS chief, he created a position for her as a special envoy for the Shield of the Americas.

“She’s not in our DHS post, but she’s been offloaded to this new commission that the president created, and she’s serving there right now,” Kelly added. She pointed out that he did not even try to “hide his identity as the spouse of the Department of Homeland Security Chief.”
In the meantime, Bryon Noem has spoken out since the scandal broke. When asked if he wanted to comment on the photos he said, “I will at some point. Today is not the day. I appreciate your heart.”
Kelly and Lydic have taken vastly different approaches to the scandal. Either way, both spouses have graced the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
