Ryan Edwards and his girlfriend, Shelby Woods, have reportedly been evicted from their Tennessee home. According to a June 19 report by Radar Online , the Teen Mom OG couple owes nearly $7,000 in back rent.
A confirmation from a spokesperson for Hamilton County Civil Court was as follows.
“Chattanooga rental management company Wise Properties filed a lawsuit against Edwards and Woods on November 17, 2014, alleging that the couple owed $6,628 in back rent. On January 25, 2015, a civil court judge ordered the pair to pay their debt and evict the premises.”
Since then, an insider claims that Ryan Edwards and his girlfriend have failed to pay up.
“They still haven’t paid the judgment,” a court insider told Radar Online .
Ryan Edwards began dating Shelby Woods two years ago, but they were rumored to have split at the end of last year after filming the recently-aired Teen Mom OG . The alleged split was one of many for the reality couple, and online feuds between the pair weren’t out of the ordinary. Last year, when the couple were said to have broken up, rumors swirled regarding possibility infidelities, and Edwards was seen attempting to get back together. Then, in March, as Teen Mom OG made its debut, Ryan Edwards shared a photo of himself and Woods, confirming they were officially back on.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ryan Edwards’ ex-girlfriend, Maci Bookout — the mother of his 6-year-old son, Bentley — has had far better luck with her living situation as of late. Earlier this year, before welcoming her second child, daughter Jayde Carter McKinney, Bookout and boyfriend Taylor McKinney purchased a home of their own . During a Teen Mom OG: Featured Moment , Bookout, who was previously engaged to Ryan Edwards, gushed over the new residence .
“Our house is exactly what we were looking for. Luckily, we really didn’t have to compromise too much on our wants and needs. What we got was really what we were looking for. My hopes for our future in the house is just that we don’t grow out of it too fast, we continue to like it, or love it, as much as we do now. I have a tendency to get over things really quickly, so I’m hoping I stay content with it for a few years at least.”
At this point, it is unclear whether or not Ryan Edwards and Shelby Woods are still an item, and neither party has spoken out about the Radar Online report.
