“Rowdy” Roddy Piper, the man who was “stomping mud-holes” in people long before “Stone Cold” Steve Austin would make the phrase a household term, doesn’t appear to like the Texas Rattlesnake.
In fact, since Piper was reportedly dropped from his WWE Legends deal, and since he removed his podcast, Piper’s Pit , from the PodcastOne platform, he seems to have launched an all-out attack on his fellow wrestling superstar.
The Inquisitr has already gone into some detail about the riff between the two — you can read the initial shots fired and Austin’s response here — but the short version is this.
On a previous episode of Piper’s Pit Piper and his guest, comedian Will Sasso, joked about Austin’s alleged heat with Vince McMahon, Austin’s only friend being his dog, and Austin quitting WWE. Piper also joked that Austin’s success was based on three words — “what” and “hell yeah.”
Austin admitted on his own show that he had that particular episode removed from PodcastOne, but that both his and Piper’s shows went on well after that, and that Piper had removed his show voluntarily for reasons not entirely known to, but having little to do with, Austin.
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper, however, appears to have another story to tell, and he’s doing it personally — as well as retweeting negative Austin posts — on his Twitter account.
Here are a few of the retweets.

@SicilianNecktie I think it’s total garbage that @WWE killed @R_Roddy_Piper ‘s deal. I’m almost done with the product myself. #PiperorPerish — Jason Pollock (@DeathstalkerHAM) July 9, 2015
And aside from the retweets, Piper had this to say himself.
I don’t lie! I’ll bury in 5 mins on the next PIPER’S PIT POD and be done with this bully BS!

But what do you think, readers? Was Austin behind the end of the WWE Legends deal and the removal of Piper’s Pit ? Are these first shots fired from the “Rowdy” Roddy Piper Twitter account a hint of greater things to come? Sound off in the comments section.
