The Jeffrey Epstein files controversy continues to swirl as new names come to light after a fresh batch of emails were released by Democrats. While Epstein’s connection to U.S. President Donald Trump and several of his close aides has stopped surprising the common people, one name has now been added to the list, which has come as quite a shock, especially to the political left.
It has now been revealed that famous linguist Noam Chomsky had regular correspondence with the now-late sex offender between 2015 and 2017. They even met multiple times, as Jeffrey Epstein’s personal calendar, obtained by The Wall Street Journal, revealed.
The two had discussions on various topics, including politics and personal matters. Chomsky also mentioned that Epstein had donated around $850,000 to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where the former taught for a long time. The two also had discussions about Donald Trump and the administration that was forming in 2016.

One email sent from Chomsky to Epstein in December 2016 mentioned, “I notice your prediction was right about Trump avoiding the White House as far too primitive.” While their discussions were mostly about politics, academia, and other matters, the fact that Chomsky had regular contact with Epstein has drawn some serious backlash from a section of socialists.
It should be noted here that Chomsky himself had previously talked about his connection to Epstein and mentioned that he had met him a few times. However, as Chomsky’s political stance is quite opposite to most of the names found in the Epstein files, critics are going quite hard on him.
Taking to X, one user posted, “Noam Chomsky was manufacturing consent for child rapist Jeffrey Epstein. Democrats are going to have to find a new fake leftist to shame people into ‘voting blue no matter who.’ Long live Michael Parenti and every leftist who doesn’t sell the people out to either capitalist party.”

Another user offered a more nuanced view, saying, “That one I’m not buying, man. Purely for the reason that Chomsky has set himself up against the man countless times over the decades with no care of the consequences to himself. And now he caves? I do not think he was ever involved in that part of Epstein’s life, and I do not think they were bosom buddies as much as they were people who knew each other through other people and social occasions.”
Regarding the emails between Epstein and Chomsky, a third user asked an important question, “When was this written? Did Chomsky know about Epstein and young girls? I am not defending him, just curious.”
Another user made sure no one forgot Trump’s connection to Epstein, as they commented, “Hey, he was an elite. He was a billionaire. He obviously had some kind of talent with money. That’s going to connect you to everyone. Now… who was his best friend for 15 years? That’s the question. Trump was. They diddled together, guaranteed.”
