Imagine Dragons have recorded “Battle Cry” for the Transformers 4 soundtrack earlier this year. The song was released online today and fans can listen to the song here!
Imagine Dragons’ “Battle Cry” is a high intensity song with heavy percussion, exquisite melody, and perfect guitar accompaniment. The song is a perfect match for the Transformers movie family.
The video below is a still picture of the “Battle Cry” logo and audio of the Imagine Dragons song.
For the song, Imagine Dragons worked with film composer Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer to create the feeling for the song. Transformers director Michael Bay says that the song will be used during critical points throughout the film. Michael Bay wanted to work with Imagine Dragons after being drawn to the emotion of the songs “Demons” and “Radioactive.” The award winning director wanted those emotions in the newest Transformers installment.
“Battle Cry” hit iTunes today (June 2). Imagine Dragons will perform the song during the Transformers: Age of Extinction world premiere in Hong Kong on June 19.
