Country music superstar Brantley Gilbert has announced his “Blackout Tour” dates and has revealed his concerts will be featuring performances by fellow country music artists Canaan Smith and Michael Ray.

The “Country Must be Country Wide” singer will not only travel across the United States, he will also be making stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Scotland, Canada, and England. “The Blackout Tour” will kick off in Amsterdam on November 11 and will continue through 2016, ending in Nevada on April 30.

“If you’re gonna take it on the road, do it,” Gilbert said in a press release, according to the Boot. “If you’re gonna push the music, don’t be afraid to put it out there. People around the world get the idea about what we do: these songs are about living life in hard places, but standing up when you do. That’s a universal thing, so let’s do it.”

Gilbert released his most recent album, Just As I Am, in 2014. Although most artists would already be working on their next project, Brantley says he isn’t like most artists, and he is taking his time to figure out exactly how he wants his next album to be. He explained that he has been writing so much lately that his lyrics are becoming repetitive. Therefore, he wants to take a break from writing and come back to it when he is ready.

“We operate on a little bit of a different time schedule, I think, than anybody else,” Gilbert said. “We just take our time.

“I’ve looked at a couple different ideas,” the “One Hell of an Amen” singer added. “One idea that crossed my mind was an ‘open book’ idea, because I kind of am an open book: Between the tattoos and what comes out of my mouth, you know who I am real quick.”

Tickets for Brantley Gilbert’s “The Blackout Tour” go on sale on November 6, with a special pre-sale available for BG Nation members on November 3 starting at 10 a.m. for silver members and 12:00 p.m. for brass members.
