Are you sick of Miley Cyrus popping up every time you are on your computer, tablet or phone? Google Chrome has come up with a brilliant solution for those suffering from Miley Cyrus fatigue, the No Cyrus plug-in.
Unless you live under a rock or don’t follow the entertainment happenings, you have at least heard about Miley Cyrus in the last, oh…few weeks or so. If you have and can’t take it anymore, this might be the thing for you.
For us who write for a living, Miley is the gift that keeps on giving, but we understand that not everyone feels the same way.
If you are one of the thousands out there who don’t care or are just plain tired of hearing what the pop-twerking-diva is up to on any given day, Google presents the No Cyrus plug-in.
The Miley Cyrus blocker works like any other Chrome plug-in you would use for your other needs while surfing the web.
According to the developer, the No Cyrus plug-in scans pages that load in your browser and sensors the specific keywords you want blocked, in this case the former Disney star.
Once you download the plug-in here , instead of any mention of the name Miley Cyrus, you will get a series of pound (#) symbols or hashtags, as they’re called in the Twitter-verse.
So even if Miley thinks that she can’t stop everyone from hanging on her every move, which is becoming SO annoying, we actually can, thanks to Google. It might be worth to switch browsers. Just saying.
Unfortunately, for now, there is no image blocking, so we’ll have to put up with her hanging tongue and skimpy outfits until someone comes up with that option. Please let it be soon.
In the meantime, Miley Cyrus and her twerking self continue to reap in the rewards of all this craziness that started the day she performed at the VMAS. But at least now we have the No Cyrus plug-in. Thank you!
