Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison are calling it quits.
According to the NY Daily News , Stodden reportedly separated from Hutchinson after three years of marriage.
A source told Radar Online :
“Courtney has called it quits on her marriage… She is done with him and he’s totally heartbroken. Doug knew he was taking a risk with the marriage, but he genuinely fell in love with Courtney and didn’t realize how much his life would be changed after they got married… She is branching out and doing her own thing and Doug is getting left behind.”
Courtney Stodden fans shouldn’t be too surprised that the marriage is over. The young reality star recently talked about divorcing Hutchinson on an episode of Big Brother.
Stodden, who was only 16-years-old when she married the 51-year-old actor, said that she wanted more independence in her life . The reality star was just a kid when she got married and she’s never truly been on her own. It looks like Stodden is finally ready to do that.
At the moment, the breakup is just a rumor. Courtney Stodden and Dough Hutchison haven’t announced anything official yet and they probably won’t until all of the cameras are rolling.
A source told Radar Online that the two are waiting for maximum exposure to announce their divorce.
A source said:
“Everything with Courtney and Doug is so contrived, but he wasn’t with her at her Halloween party and she’s always doing things by herself lately… He just isn’t part of the scene anymore now. They’ll probably stage a photo opp just to pretend they’re still together though. But it’s over.”
