Bobby Brown says his daughter is awake! The confusion of Brown’s words claiming that his daughter is awake after spending nearly three months in a coma is slightly lifted. Over the weekend, Bobby Brown shared the wonderful news with fans at a concert at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas, Texas.
Bobby spoke only a few simple words about his daughter and did not elaborate, leaving the world to wonder if he truly meant that his daughter Bobbi Kristina was indeed awake, or if he may have been speaking in a more spiritual sense.
“Bobbi is awake. She is watching me.”
However, Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheridge-Brown, says the news that step-daughter Bobbi Kristina’s condition has improved, and says she has opened her eyes.
“She has made it out of ICU, opened her eyes, and started a rehabilitation that will be long and hard. We will hold on to all the blessings GOD gives us to help her at this time and we look forward to her having a relationship with her unborn sister as our family grows in love and faith.”
The fact that Bobby’s daughter has made it out of the ICU, as Alicia says, after such an intense period of time on life support, is in itself a miracle.

According to ABC News, Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Christopher Brown, released a statement which confirms what he says about his daughter. Bobbi Kristina is awake !
“Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.”
Of course, one cannot spend nearly three months unconscious after such a traumatic injury and expect to simply stand up and reclaim the same quality of life as before. A long rehabilitation is to be expected for Bobbi Kristina Brown. The important information here, and what everyone has been praying for, is that Bobby’s words are true when he says his daughter is awake. Keep praying for Bobbi Kristina. The road ahead will not be easy.
