The iPhone 6 Plus is the hottest phablet on the market right now, but that may not last for long. The HTC One M9 , which could have a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution display and a 2.5 GHz snapdragon processor, is set to be released soon. As Tech Radar points out, the iPhone 6 Plus competitor will likely be announced on March 1.

The iPhone 6 Plus was released last October, and according to Tech Times , Apple has finally been able to meet demand.
“After months of long wait times for the most popular models of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, it appears that every model is now available and in stock from the Apple store. While discounts and sales on the devices are currently hard to find, this is usually the point at which retailers begin cutting prices.”
HTC used to be the number one smartphone maker before Apple stepped into the game in 2007. They made mostly Windows Mobile phones. In 2010, HTC released their first flagship Android phone, the EVO 4G . It was supposed to be an “iPhone killer.” CNET gave the Sprint smartphone a great review.
“Overall, the HTC Evo 4G is, hands-down, the best smartphone that Sprint has to offer and certainly ranks as one of the best Android phones on the market today. It’s feature packed and powerful, and shows the promise of 4G.”
HTC didn’t even come close to taking the crown from the iPhone, while Samsung took over as the number one Android smartphone maker. In 2013, HTC released the HTC One to compete with the iPhone. Many thought that the smartphone had a better build than the iPhone, but the camera was sub-par. iMore summarized why the iPhone camera was better.
“The iPhone 5s does a great job of balancing colors, tones, and exposure 99.9% of the time. And for people who just want to pull out their phone, snap a photo, and not have to fiddle with settings, they’ll appreciate that. The HTC One M8’s Duo camera does some neat tricks but I would have rather seen HTC focus on overall image quality before adding bells and whistles.”
The HTC One M9 is said to have ditched HTC’s previous camera and will now run with a 20 megapixel camera. The iPhone 6 Plus camera currently only has eight megapixels. By overcoming this obstacle, HTC appears ready to possibly crush the iPhone 6 Plus.
