In case you haven’t noticed — and we really don’t know how that’s possible — Adam Levine decided to dye his hair platinum blonde . The result is peculiar, to say the very least. The singer is so freakishly pretty that the light hair makes him look oddly angelic, and not in a good way. This writer keeps waiting for him to sprout wings and start playing a harp while recounting our sins.

Fans of the singer aren’t the only people on the planet who believe the new look is a little strange. Fellow Voice mentor Blake Shelton also took a moment to address the guy’s blonde hair. In short: The country music singer believes the pop star looks a lot like Meg Ryan and Miley Cyrus. That’s definitely got to burn a little.
“I don’t have an explanation. I woke up, had the day off, and I thought I’d look like Shakira,” Levine explained.
