Taylor Swift isn’t spending some quality time with former Scrubs star Zach Braff after all.
Before you lose your lunch at the very thought of the country music star and the actor making out at some trendy nightclub in middle of Los Angeles, it’s worth noting that Swift’s reps have firmly denied these reports. Of course, that isn’t stopping celebrity gossip mongers from spreading the news as though it were gospel.
News about Taylor Swift’s latest romantic adventure arrived courtesy of — you guessed it — an anonymous source. The nameless tattletale told the folks over at Heat magazine that Swift and Braff started seeing each other a while back. While they’d hoped to keep their relationship under wraps, the insider didn’t have any trouble finding someone to bring this secret to the masses.

“Taylor [Swift] and Zach have had a flirty relationship for a while, and [ex-girlfriend] Taylor [Bagley] was always jealous — it was part of the reason they broke up,” someone reportedly told the publication.
The insider continued, “She and Zach were even posing for selfies and posting them online while Zach and [the other] Taylor were in the process of split up.”
Perhaps Braff just has a thing for Taylors.
It didn’t take long for other outlets to pick up the story, prompting Swift’s handlers to issue a very stern denial. If you started penning Scrubs fan fiction featuring a romantic subplot between the country star and Dr. John ‘J.D.’ Dorian, then you’d might want to scrap your draft altogether. Apparently, there’s absolutely no truth to the rumor.
“Despite the rumors, Taylor has never been on a date with Mr. Braff, and he has never been to her home. Like, never. Ever,” a rep exclusively told Us Weekly .
For the moment, it would appear that Taylor Swift is without a significant other. Although she may have her sights set on someone special, The Inquisitr previously reported that Ed Sheeran already has a guy in mind for his BFF .
“Orlando Bloom,” Sheeran said when asked who Swift should consider dating next. Since the Lord of the Rings alum is already friends with Selena Gomez, it would seem that their pairing isn’t overly far-fetched. We won’t say anything about the slightly creepy age difference.
