Chaos appears to have occurred at an airport ahead of the FIFA World Cup scheduled for June 2026 in the United States. An unidentified man traveling from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Texas interrupted a group of Iraqi fans cheering for their home country. Social media users speculated that he is a MAGA supporter.
According to a video shared by a bystander on Instagram and X, a group of people were seen chanting and cheering. Two people held a banner between them with Arabic and Spanish text on it.
As they continued to cheer for the Iraqi football team, a man in an orange jacket and a blue baseball cap suddenly cut through the banner. He approached them, appearing irritated, and asked them to stop cheering.

The man in orange yelled at them, saying, “You’re in America,” and continued to discourage them from cheering for their home team. The fans were at the airport to support Iraq during their qualifier against Bolivia, which took place earlier today and resulted in Iraq’s 2-1 upset victory.
In the video, a few TSA officials were seen observing the scene. ICE agents have also been deployed at airports to provide additional security, as confirmed by Tom Homan. However, no official reports confirm whether ICE intervened.
After a heated exchange, the man in orange was asked to leave and was ushered away from the fans to prevent further escalation. The person recording called the alleged instigator “racist” and stated that they were American and that he did not have to throw the flag on the ground, which he did at the beginning of the video.

According to a social media user on X, the incident took place at Gate D12 at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. Since the video surfaced, it has been reshared multiple times across different social media platforms.
Many critics expressed empathy toward the alleged victims of the incident, while others scrutinized the situation and the man in orange. Some also claimed that hosting the World Cup in the United States is a mistake because of such incidents.
One user said, “It really was a mistake to hold the World Cup here…” Another wrote, “As a huge football fan and SANE American… Do NOT come here; cancel the WC.” The same user also claimed that ICE was present.

Similarly, another user called for the cancellation of the World Cup and said, “It’s going to be more about this sort of racism than actual football.” Another asked, “So how are people from other countries going to come to America to enjoy the World Cup if MAGA don’t want them here?”
Another user alleged, “Playing the World Cup in present-day America is going to end up being a horrendous decision—guaranteed.” Likewise, many users have called on FIFA to cancel the World Cup in the United States.
Regarding the individual in the video who interrupted the football fans, many have assumed he is a MAGA supporter. However, no official reports are confirming whether the person supports President Donald Trump or his campaign.
