Health concerns have been a persistent issue ever since President Trump returned to office for the second time. From speculations about dementia to worsening heart conditions due to his age and diet, there have been multiple instances suggesting that the president may not be in optimal health.
However, Trump and his administration have consistently denied any such concerns, maintaining that he is in great health. While these concerns were previously voiced mostly by his political opponents, in recent times a section of the MAGA population has also expressed worry.
Far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones appears to be the latest in this group, claiming the president’s condition is deteriorating and calling for Republicans to “cut bait on him” and continue fighting the Democrats.
Alex Jones says Trump is done: “When your ankles swell up three times the size they were before, that means heart failure. And he does look sick. And he does babble and it sounds like the brain’s not doing too hot. So we just cut bait on Trump.” pic.twitter.com/YjkiX3Mm9G

In a video now viral on X, Jones could be heard saying, “When your ankles swell up three times the size they were before, that means heart failure. And he does look sick. And he does babble, and it sounds like the brain’s not doing too hot. And so, we just cut bait on Trump, and we just mobilize against the Democrats.”
It is important to note that Jones himself is a controversial figure on the far right. Through his InfoWars network, he has promoted a vision of fighting a “Satanic New World Order.” In doing so, he presents a version in which he controls everything and uses the paranoia of his followers to sell various products, including dietary supplements and survival gear.
Moreover, he faced serious financial troubles for years, caused by a billion-dollar litigation filed by the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre after Jones had encouraged his followers to target them, claiming that the tragedy was staged.
While Trump’s health concerns do appear to be real, netizens do not seem to trust Jones much. One X user commented, “Your ankle swelling does not necessarily mean heart failure; it could be something as simple as edema. And he’s always babbled. He stays so busy that it’s hard to stay focused on one singular thing for any period of time, but he’s still producing record results for this country.”

Another user added, “You are so right, but this devil is so strong, like he got another life fighting to survive … I don’t know. He will collapse soon, hope he will live another 10 years to face his trial and finally go to jail for his creepy r—ing crime on little girls and stealing from Americans.”
One user brought up the Sandy Hook case, saying, “He hasn’t paid a dime to Sandy Hook families. Don’t believe a word he says.” Another user noted, “Yeah, my grandfather’s ankles did the same for 15 years. He lived to be 93.”
The majority of comments, regardless of political standpoint, appeared to reject Jones’ perspective, instead arguing that Trump is unlikely to collapse anytime soon.
