Now, the spotlight has completely shifted from Kirk’s death as social media users and political observers are obsessed with his widow, Erika Kirk, who shot up to CEO oddly fast. So suddenly, TikTok is flooded with conspiracy theories about her.
Lately, people on social media have been pushing the idea that Erika “hijacked” TPUSA, aka the organization Charlie Kirk started. A TikToker called her a “psychopath,” and that her behavior was weird after her husband was killed. Since Erika is now traveling a lot for public events and isn’t always with her kids, people find it “suspicious.”
Erika became CEO of Turning Point USA after her husband was murdered on September 10, 2025, during a speech at Utah Valley University. To supporters, she kept things running, yes, but for her critics, her rise was a red flag.

People online are mostly going after Erika Kirk for how she carries herself and how fast she rose to power. The conspiracy-minded crowd sees her public profile as a master plan.
What’s weird is how conservative names like Candace Owens have made things worse. Even after sitting down with Erika for over four hours, Owens won’t walk back her theories. She’s still pushing that Charlie Kirk’s murder wasn’t by a lone shooter. She’s been hinting at everything from foreign governments to the people at Turning Point USA being involved!
The cops have said Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old man, is the one who killed Charlie Kirk in an aggravated murder case. Apparently, text messages and bullet casings with meme references all point to him acting alone.
But so far, Robinson hasn’t said whether he’s guilty or not.

Meanwhile, Erika Kirk keeps insisting that Turning Point USA doesn’t have any insider information and hasn’t seen evidence. She’s called out Owens for going after TPUSA staff, saying those attacks hurt people Charlie Kirk believed in when he was alive.
But no matter what she says, the rumors won’t die down. Owens divided the MAGA influencer world, as Ben Shapiro called her actions “evil.” Then again, Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly said she’s got every right to ask these questions.
We also see that Erika has been everywhere lately, as Variety reported. Be it Fox News six times in one week while pushing her book Stop in the Name of God! (which Charlie Kirk finished right before he died). Then there was the CBS town hall with Bari Weiss on December 13. People online are saying she should be grieving instead of doing all this promo.
Fair point, but navigating grief while the internet turns everything into a viral outrage storm can get tough.
