An ex-Beauty and the Geek Australia competitor is accused of killing her partner in a murder case that has kept the general public and investigators in shock in South Australia. Once seen on reality TV, Tamika Sueann-Rose Chesser (or simply Tamika Chesser), 34, was found unconscious near the burned and deformed body of her 39-year-old boyfriend, Julian Story.
Authorities are still looking for Story’s missing head, which is an essential bit of documentation that will help his family find closure and keep going with the investigation into the June 17 incident in Port Lincoln.
As per a report, the fractured remains of Julian Story were uncovered after emergency personnel were called to a home by a fire alarm, as stated by law enforcement. In the bathroom, officers came across a badly burned and headless body.
Tamika Chesser was found in the backyard, seemingly in shock and not reacting. Since that point, she has been charged with and accused of assaulting a police officer, murder, and tampering with human remains.
Police Appeal for Help To Search for Julian Story’s Head
Recovering Julian’s head is now an absolute priority, Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke stated on Friday. During an interview with the press, he pointed out, “I can only imagine (…) the grief this news is causing Julian’s family. Recovering Julian’s head to return it to his family so they can have a peaceful outcome, have a funeral and lay him to rest.”
Shortly after the brutal killing, Tamika Chesser was seen walking through Port Lincoln with three dogs and all black clothing, judging by CCTV footage that police released. The video was taken soon after her partner’s estimated time of death and could be used for monitoring the accused woman, aka Tamika Chesser’s actions.

In an attempt to catch something that could help them look for the missing body part or give clarity into what brought about such a horrifying act, government officials are currently requesting residents and businesses in the area to look into dashcam or video surveillance footage from that night of June 17.
According to court documents, Tamika Chesser was seated in a garden chair and did not even reply when police showed up on the premises, or maybe she wasn’t able to, owing to her mental state. In the meantime, inside the home, the corpse had been cut up and burned. Chesser has been returned to custody under a mental health order at her first video link court hearing.
Until her committal hearing in December, she is unlikely to make any more appearances.
Friends and Family React to Tamika Chesser’s Alleged Crime
Back in 2010, Chesser made an appearance on Beauty and the Geek Australia, a TV series that had funny matches between stylish contestants and people of intellect who had trouble connecting with other people. Former audiences and those who are close to her have been taken aback by her sudden switch from minor celebrity to murder suspect.
“This is not her,” her sister Kiya-May told Daily Mail Australia. She said Tamika’s life was marked by “trauma and abuse.” She believes her sister’s mental state had deteriorated to the point of psychosis, saying it “fried her brain.”

Meanwhile, Julian Story’s grieving family released a public statement expressing gratitude for the outpouring of community support. “We are navigating an unimaginable loss,” they said. “Your care has brought comfort amid the chaos.”
While Tamika Chesser remains behind bars, questions linger about motive, mental health, and what may have sparked such horrific violence. Until police locate Story’s missing head, the case remains open-ended and haunting.
