Kevin Spacey Walks Down Flooded Charleston Street, Comments On ‘Beautiful’ Summer Weather

Celebrities, they’re just like us. Kevin Spacey recently tweeted a photo of himself walking down one of Charleston’s flooded streets.

The actor, who recently made Emmy history by earning a nomination for House Of Cards, was in South Carolina this weekend enjoying the beautiful summer weather. And by “beautiful summer weather,” I mean torrential storms and floods.

Spacey wrote on Twitter:

“I had a great time in Charleston, SC. Beautiful summer weather.”

Charleston is no stranger to floods. The city is right next to the ocean and is only a few feet above sea level. So it probably wasn’t too surprising to anyone living in Charleston to see a few inches of rain on the street.

Spacey, however, seems a little perplexed by the city’s ongoing problem.

The actor wasn’t the only person affected by the flooding this weekend but he may have been the only Emmy nominee.

Spacey was recently nominated for his work on House Of Cards. It is the first time that an actor on an online show has been nominated for the television award.
