The week of Monday, June 5, 2017, will start off with a bang in Genoa City and The Young and the Restless. Vengeance seems to be the theme of the day as Juliet decides to file a sexual harassment suit, and Nick and Chelsea gatecrash Chloe’s funeral. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Hilary will be quite pleased that her plan for vengeance is taking shape, and it is too bad that it could cost Cane and Lily their marriage!

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, June 5: Juliet Makes Her Own Luck

On Monday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, Billy (Jason Thompson) will have a frank but sincere talk with Juliet (Laur Allen). Spoilers reveal that Billy will apologize to her and tell her that he is sorry that things worked out the way that they did. Billy will tell Juliet that he is sorry that she has to leave, but he knows that there will be other opportunities available for Juliet. Billy will wish Juliet only the best of luck for the future.

Instead of looking depressed at having lost her job, Juliet gives Billy a mischievous smile and delivers a one-liner. No doubt, she already has in mind how she is going to change her luck with Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) suggestion for her to file a sexual harassment lawsuit and to seek vengeance for losing her job this way. At first, Juliet was shocked at the idea of going so far, but it seems as if Hilary convinced her.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, June 5: Hilary aka The Marriage Destroyer

With Juliet following Hilary’s advice, Hilary has every reason to be smug about her plan to destroy Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) marriage. According to Monday, June 5 spoilers, she will even praise Lily to avert any doubts about Hilary’s motivation and to make it seem as if she wants the best for Lily.

With Cane present, Hilary doesn’t miss the opportunity to rub in his face how fake his and Lily’s marriage is. According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Hilary will tell Lily and Cane that despite her own failed marriage, she still believes in the institution of wedded bliss. Hilary will point out that Cane and Lily’s marriage is a fine example of how a marriage can last. Hilary will smirk as she “praises” their commitment to each other, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Cane knows exactly why Hilary is doing this, but it’s not as if his bride is oblivious to all of Hilary’s shortcomings either. Spoilers reveal Lily will be taken aback at the suddenly kind Hilary, and she will wonder why Hilary is being nice since Hilary never does anything for altruistic reasons.

Rumors for The Young and the Restless indicate that Cane and Juliet’s one-night stand will soon be revealed at a time when they least expect it. Unfortunately, Lily and Cane’s marriage will pay the price for it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, June 5: Chloe’s Funeral Surprise

The Young and the Restless spoilers on Soap Hub state “Chelsea is stunned when Paul delivers more news about Chloe.” Paul (Doug Davidson) will tell Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Chloe’s funeral is that day. Chloe will be so shocked that she asks, “The funeral is today?”

Chloe will be surprised that all the funeral arrangements were taken care of so quickly, but it may not be surprising since Kevin (Greg Rikaart) may have chosen to get her burial over with quickly.

Nick and Chelsea then gatecrash the funeral because Chelsea needs to find closure in Chloe’s death. They will want to pay their last respects to Chloe. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that the funeral will not go according to plan, and there is a surprising twist during the ceremony.
