Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Vacation Together
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were spotted jetting away on a winter vacation this past weekend.
Shelton and Stefani went on vacation to Lake Arrowhead, California, a couple miles northeast of Los Angeles. Accompanying the couple were Gwen’s kids. Stefani has three children with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, all of whom seem to be getting along famously with country singing sensation Blake Shelton.
Rumors about when the pair will finally tie the knot have been circulating for months, with Radar Online recently claiming that Stefani had been seen jewelry shopping. While Gossip Cop shot down the rumor, saying that Shelton and Stefani are not engaged, the couple have been growing closer than ever.
E! News reports that the celebrity couple were seen taking a stroll at their vacation getaway, nestled in the San Bernardino mountains. The timing of the vacation, just before the holidays, may be due to the fact that Shelton has to work on New Year’s Eve. Shelton is set to perform on 2017 New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly which airs live from New York City’s Times Square as the city rings in the new year.
The couple have been together for over a year now. Shelton recently appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show and discussed his relationship with the No Doubt singer. Entertainment Tonight recapped Shelton’s interview.
“It’s just been an eye opener to be with someone like her,” he said, adding that Stefani “literally may be the most normal person that I have ever met in my entire life.”
The country crooner was previously wed to fellow country singing superstar Miranda Lambert. The split has been the source of many rumors, several of which claim that Stefani and Lambert are enemies. In Touch recently alleged that the rival singers are due for a “showdown” citing an anonymous source who said, “the gloves are off.”
Many think that Lambert’s recent album, The Weight of These Wings, contains direct jabs at her ex-husband’s new girlfriend. In Touch claims that Stefani plans to retaliate with a source claiming,”Gwen is ready to unleash some very personal songs about Miranda being the constant third wheel in [her] life.” Stefani has reportedly “written several songs in which she calls Miranda out” for so easily giving up on Shelton.
Despite all of the rumors that are following their relationship, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani appear to be happier than ever. Stefani’s three children seem to enjoy Shelton’s company.
Stefani has also raved about her new beau, who is her first long-term relationship after ending her 13 years of marriage to ex-husband Rossdale. Us Weekly reported an interview Stefani gave in March in which she thanked Shelton for his support.
“It was a really super-unexpected gift to find a friend, somebody who happened to be going through the exact same thing as me, literally mirroring my experience. I don’t think it’s an accident that that happened. It saved me.”
Both Stefani and Shelton were previously married to singers, ending their marriages within months of each other. That’s not where the similarities end, though. Both of the famous men are involved with the reality singing competition The Voice, with British crooner Rossdale appearing as a judge on the U.K. version of the show and Shelton on the American edition. Stefani is also a judge on the popular singing show.
This isn’t the first time Stefani and Shelton have vacationed together. The pair recently took a romantic getaway to Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch for Stefani’s birthday in October, according to Hollywood Life.
Whether or not Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are set to walk down the aisle any time soon remains to be seen, but with the pair taking vacations with her children there can be no doubt that they consider themselves to be a family.
