Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian have drawn the line when it comes to Blac Chyna’s name change. The famous reality TV sisters have come to accept that Chyna just might end up getting married to their brother, Rob Kardashian. However, they are pushing to legally stop her from making a profit once she becomes Angela Renee Kardashian.

Blac Chyna recently gave birth to Rob’s first child, and the brand new parents are still enjoying their new baby bliss. Now that the newest Kardashian baby has arrived, there has been a lot of talk about Rob and Chyna’s wedding plans. Once Chyna does marry Rob, she’ll become a Kardashian, and there’s nothing the rest of his family can do about it. They are trying to make sure their new sister-in-law is taking the famous name for all the right reasons, and one of those won’t be money if they get what they want.

The Kardashian sisters have reportedly made it clear that they don’t want Blac Chyna using the Kardashian name for profit. They are so concerned about their reputation and image, according to TMZ, that the sisters have taken legal measures to make sure Chyna can’t file a trademark once she becomes a Kardashian.

The gossip site obtained legal documents filed by companies owned by Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian regarding Blac Chyna’s upcoming name change. They made it clear that they do not want her to be able to trademark the name Angela Renee Kardashian for business use.

In getting prepared for her upcoming marriage and all that comes with it, Blac Chyna has already begun the process of securing legal protection for her new name. She wants to be able to go by Angela Renee Kardashian on social media and to refer to herself as a Kardashian in her entertainment industry dealings.

In a nasty move to protect themselves, the Kardashian sisters have been trying to put up a legal roadblock to stop Chyna from using their famous last name for business purposes. Of course, there’s nothing they can do about her using Kardashian as her married name once she ties the knot with their reclusive brother.

In the legal paperwork, the Kardashian women claim that Blac Chyna using her new married name may not have anything to do with love. Instead, they have accused her of “deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity” of the Kardashian name. The legal docs also claim that if Chyna gets to set up businesses as Angela Renee Kardashian, then the sisters will “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.”

Basically, what Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe are saying is that if Blac Chyna starts biting off the Kardashian name, it will diminish their own worth and damage companies they have already set up. They also don’t want Rob’s fiance to make a profit from the name when she’s done nothing to build it up.

At this point, it’s unclear if Blac Chyna will get the go-ahead to do business as a Kardashian or not. However, it is pretty clear from these documents that Rob’s sisters still haven’t fully accepted his new woman into the fold. It seems unfair to block Blac Chyna from using her new Kardashian moniker after the marriage, even if it will make her more famous. She did put the work in with Rob and had his baby, after all.

Should Blac Chyna be allowed to use her new married name Angela Renee Kardashian for business purposes, or do the Kardashian sisters have the right to try and block her? Tell us what you think of this latest Kardashian-related legal drama in the comments section below.
