But when past angels inhabit the spirit of the neonatal intensive care center, the tight-fisted new boss has a change of heart. Starring in Hallmark’s latest movie is Emilie Ullerup as Jenny Miller, Kristoffer Polaha as Matt Crawford, and Sharon Lawrence as Alice Shelby, according to The Californian.

Movie Synopsis: Hearts of Christmas, Airing on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries

It’s Christmas at the local community hospital, and the staff is busy preparing for the annual Christmas celebration. A lot of work goes into pulling off the perfect party for the staff members as a way of honoring all of the hard work they do during the year.

This year is no different. And Jenny Miller couldn’t be more excited. However, her plans are restricted after she learns that her favorite supervisor, Alice Shelby, is being forced to retire early to cut down on hospital costs. In a panic, Jenny makes it her business to find out who is responsible for firing Alice.

It doesn’t take long for Jenny to pinpoint the hospital’s new CFO Matt Crawford. Jenny knows that barging into Matt’s office could cost her her own job, but she is willing to face his wrath. However, Jenny is in for a big surprise, Matt isn’t the bad guy that she had pictured in her mind. He is, of course, very dedicated to his job, and since he’s a numbers cruncher, he is eager to complete the job he was hired to do—to save the hospital money.

What’s worse is that Matt Crawford doesn’t even know all of the names of the people he’s letting go. That’s where Jenny steps in. She wants him to know who Alice Shelby is—a woman who has changed the lives of her patients and her workers. A true mentor, Alice has been the hospital’s “guiding light,” and the staff is anguished that she has to leave.

Meanwhile, Jenny continues pulling the party together for Christmas but decides that this year, it will be an extravagant send-off for her beloved supervisor. Matt also helps out with the details and seems excited about it. But there is something else, the CFO has his eyes and heart set on Jenny.

Is Jenny ready to give her heart to the same man who has been hired to put everyone’s job on the chopping block? And will Matt’s new spark for Jenny help him to figure out another way to reduce financial strains and allow him to keep Alice on staff?
