Brad Pitt Is Not Using ‘Damaging Tapes’ Against Angelina Jolie Amid Their Custody Battle [Debunked]

Last week, Brad Pitt was said to have damaging tapes against his estranged wife Angelina Jolie, but according to a new report, there is no truth to the allegations.

As Brad Pitt was cleared of child abuse charges by the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services, a report surfaced claiming the 52-year-old actor was planning to use tapes to expose Jolie alleged “manic drug rages” and “love of kinky sex.” However, those tapes don’t exist.

As Gossip Cop explained to readers on November 20, a false report had claimed the tapes could potentially be “extremely damaging” for Angelina Jolie in her custody battle with Brad Pitt. The report also suggested Pitt had 12 years of recorded confessionals in his possession which he hoped would help him win joint custody of his six kids.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Joie had been together for 12 years and married for two years when news of Jolie’s divorce filing hit the web. The couple also shares six children, Maddox, 15, whom they adopted from Cambodia, Pax, 12, from Vietnam, Zahara, 11, from Ethiopia, daughter Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

The incorrect report went on to suggest Angelina Jolie would go for days without eating during her allegedly unhinged breakdowns and claimed a source had suggested she was “like two people” with a very violent side who would threaten to harm herself on occasion.

According to a separate report by Life & Style magazine, which was shared by Hollywood Life days ago, Brad Pitt was preparing to unload all of his wife’s “worst secrets” in family court as he battles her for joint custody of their children.

“[Brad Pitt] has a lot of dirt on Angie that he doesn’t want to use,” an insider shared with the magazine, “but he absolutely will.”

Although several outlets have claimed Brad Pitt is locked and loaded with damning evidence against Angelina Jolie, a source close to Brad Pitt assured Gossip Cop that the article claiming he was in possession of “damaging tapes” was “false.”

Throughout the last several weeks since Jolie filed for divorce, Pitt had been accused of getting physical with their oldest son, Maddox, during a plane ride from France to Los Angeles.

“[Brad Pitt] was put through hell by the actions Angie took after filing for divorce,” a source revealed to Life & Style last week, via Hollywood Life.

As the outlet explained, the source was referring to how Brad Pitt was targeted with an investigation by the Los Angeles County’s Department of Children and Family Services following child abuse allegations.

“[Brad Pitt] thinks she has tried to turn the kids against him, and he will never forgive her for that,” the source said. “He wants back into the kids’ lives.”

According to the report, Brad Pitt allegedly called his estranged wife and informed her that he felt it would be in the “best interest of the family” if they were to share custody. Sadly for Pitt, however, Jolie wasn’t on board with the plan.

“Angie said under no circumstances would she agree to that and hung up,” the source claimed.

When Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, she requested full physical custody of her and Pitt’s six children and noted that Pitt should have nothing more than visitation. Meanwhile, in Pitt’s response documents, he requested joint custody of their kids.

As TMZ revealed at the time of Jolie’s filing, sources claimed the actress’s decision to file had to do with the way Brad Pitt was parenting their children.

“Angelina became ‘fed up’ with [Brad Pitt’s] consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, and mixed with what she believes is ‘an anger problem’… felt it became dangerous for the children,” the outlet reported.
