Drake To Slam Rihanna In Diss Track After Breakup, ‘Things Are Bitter & Tense’

Drake could be preparing to slam ex-girlfriend Rihanna with a potentially scathing diss track about heartbreak.

Reports are claiming that Drake has been working on new music in the wake of his breakup with Rihanna last month and, according to sources, could now be ready to drop one of his news songs as early as November 12.

According to a new report by Urban Islandz, Drake has allegedly been writing about his breakup with Rihanna when it comes to his new music and could be about to release a “deep” track about his failed romance with the “We Found Love” singer.

“One of the tracks will delve into some heartbreak s*** with a recent relationship,” an OVO source told Urban Islandz of one of Drake’s new tracks thought to be about his breakup with Rihanna. “It’s a deep and dope joint that will give a different story from what you’ve been seeing circulating over the past couple weeks.”

The site claimed that Drake could debut the new music on OVOSound as early as this coming weekend, less than three months after Drake publicly gushed over Rihanna during OVO fest in Toronto, Canada, telling the singer on the stage, “You showed up two nights in a row for my city. You might have to go half on a baby.”

Though the insider didn’t give away any further details regarding Drake’s potential Rihanna diss track, the site’s Drake source did reveal that the twosome’s once friendly relationship may have turned sour following their split before admitting that it’s pretty unlikely fans will ever see Drake and Rihanna back together as a couple.

“Things [were] bitter and tense and clearly there [is] some unfinished business,” Urban Islandz’s OVO insider revealed of Drake and Rihanna, who split last month after reportedly dating exclusively for several months.

“As for getting back together, [I] doubt that will ever happen again,” continued the source when asked about a possible Drake and Rihanna reconciliation, admitting that after dating on and off several times before, their latest attempt at dating was “not the first [but] could definitely be the last.”

E! News first confirmed that Drake and Rihanna had officially split after dating exclusively since earlier this year, confirming that the two were no longer dating and were now seeing other people.

“Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment,” confirmed an insider of the former couple’s breakup prior to the diss track rumors. “They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way.”

But as rumors swirl that Drake could potentially have been writing about dating Rihanna in his new music, reports are also claiming that the “Diamonds” singer may actually be preparing a diss track of her own.

Hollywood Life recently claimed that Rihanna was actually looking to team up with Meek Mill, who’s long been locked in a nasty feud with Drake, for what could potentially be her own hit about their breakup.

“Rihanna thinks people need to put a little more respect on Meek Mill’s name” the site revealed of how Rihanna is allegedly planning on immortalizing her failed dating life with Drake, adding that if Rihanna and Mill do team up for a duet their collaboration could be “a total swipe” at Drake, who has a long history with both artists.

The site’s Rihanna source added that the singer “definitely wants to put things in action” with Meek when it comes to the twosome teaming up on a duet and is reportedly now ready to “get some studio time with him and brainstorm on a collaboration” following her Drake split.
