Angelina Jolie Distanced Brad Pitt From His Family And Friends While They Were Married?

Did Angelina Jolie seclude Brad Pitt from his family and friends during their marriage?

According to a new report, Pitt is feeling awfully lonely after his wife, Angelina Jolie, filed for divorce and for custody of their six kids.

“Brad Pitt is in desperate need of a friend, but unfortunately the actor has no one to reach out to these days because of his bitter ex-wife, Angelina Jolie,” Celeb Dirty Laundry revealed to readers on October 30.

While Pitt used to be close to a number of other famous male actors, including George Clooney, the two men haven’t been seen together in months. When Clooney was asked about Pitt’s split from Angelina Jolie at an event last month, he admitted he had no idea that they had parted ways. Right away, many wondered how someone who was once so close to Pitt could have been unaware that he and his wife had decided to end their marriage.

Although it wasn’t confirmed why Clooney wasn’t in the know, the Celeb Dirty Laundry report claimed he had likely been missing from Pitt’s life for quite a while due to his possible dislike of Angelina Jolie.

“There’s speculation that Brad’s circle of friends have abandoned him simply because they couldn’t stand being around cold and distant [Angelina Jolie],” the outlet explained, adding that Angelina Jolie may have also distanced Pitt from his family in Missouri.

“[Angelina Jolie] simply couldn’t stand traveling to Missouri to visit her husband’s family simply because she had nothing in common with their Midwestern values, which Angelina no doubt found to be backwards and painfully dull,” the outlet continued.

Although Pitt is no longer in close contact with Angelina Jolie, the outlet revealed that the actor is struggling to reconnect with his family and friends after his wife erased them from his life during their 12-year relationship.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt began dating after falling in love on the set of 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith during his marriage to Jennifer Aniston. Then, weeks after Aniston’s divorce filing, the couple began spending time together publicly. Since then, the now-estranged couple welcomed three biological children — daughter Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8 — and adopted three children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, less than one month after celebrating her two-year anniversary with Pitt. As Us Weekly revealed in August, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt spent a night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel in honor of their anniversary.

“It was just the two of them. They had dinner and spent the night, and that was it,” a source told the magazine of the former couple’s visit to the five-star resort. “They left the next day.”

According to the insider, Angelina Jolie and her soon-to-be ex-husband had previously made a habit of getting away from the madness of their careers and family life in an effort to keep the spark in their relationship.

“They want to keep the love alive,” the source said.

Since filing for divorce, Angelina Jolie and her children have been hiding in Malibu, California, at a rented home near the beach; Pitt remains in the Hollywood Hills home they previously shared. While Angelina Jolie and the kids have been photographed a couple of times since moving to the beach, Pitt has remained completely out of the spotlight and has not been seen at all since Jolie’s September 19 filing.
