Kim Kardashian Refusing To Film ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ As Kanye West Urges Her To Quit

Kim Kardashian is reportedly refusing to film scenes for Keeping Up with the Kardashians as husband Kanye West urges her to quit the reality show for good.

According to reports, Kim is still seriously shaken up after she was robbed at gunpoint of more than $10 million worth of jewelry on October 2. She is now being encouraged to quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians by Kanye over fears for both herself and the couple’s two young children, North and Saint West.

“Kanye told Kim and her family that he thinks she is done with reality TV,” a source revealed to Radar Online shortly after it was revealed that Keeping Up with the Kardashians had been put on hiatus following Kardashian’s robbery. “[Kanye] does not want his wife and the mother of his kids killed because of her family’s reality show.”

The site’s Kardashian insider then went on to admit that West feels that if Kim considers quitting the family reality series, the spotlight will dim on the Kardashian family, making everyone, including their two children, safer.

“Kanye thinks that if the show weren’t on the air, then the whole world wouldn’t want to keep up with Kim’s every move,” the source claimed of West’s quitting advice to Kim.

The Kardashian insider also revealed to the site that West has actually been encouraging Kim to quit the reality show for a while now, even before the Paris robbery that the Telegraph reported saw Kim tied up and locked in a bathroom while in the French capital for Paris Fashion week.

“Kim definitely doesn’t need the money anymore and Kanye told her that ‘there is not one good reason’ why she should continue doing this show,” the source noted of West’s advice to quit earlier this year.

Hollywood Life also reported back in August that Kanye West was encouraging Kim Kardashian to quit the reality show over safety fears, allegedly telling his wife just two months before the gunpoint robbery that he wanted her to quit reality TV so that their two children can enjoy their childhood without the E! cameras.

“Kanye isn’t a fan of cameras consistently watching him and his family’s every move,” the site revealed back in August, claiming that West, who often appears alongside Kardashian on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, told Kardashian that he wants her to consider quitting so “his kids to have a more normal childhood.”

Neither Kim nor Kanye have officially spoken out about Kardashian’s future with Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but rumors have been swirling for weeks that Kim could be planning on quitting the show for good after the robbery.

Life & Style also reported that Kim could potentially quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which has aired on E! since 2007, because she feels that having her every move documented is compromising her family’s safety.

“Kim says the show is putting her in danger because her every move is documented by their cameras,” revealed a source, alleging earlier this month that Kardashian’s scary robbery during Paris Fashion Week made her realize that “everyone doesn’t need to know everything” about her and West’s private lives.

The insider then went on to reveal that Kim supposedly told her mom, Kris Jenner, that she was quitting the show, sending the entire Kardashian clan into “total chaos.”

“Without Kim, there is no-show period,” noted the source amid the quitting rumors, adding that Kim quitting the series could potentially cost the Kardashian family mote than $75 million to get out of their contract with the network.

TMZ reported the reality series is currently scheduled for at least two more seasons in its current contract.
