Gourmet Detective: Death Al Dente is an all-new crime and mystery movie that is slated to air on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel this weekend.

Also known as Death Al Dente: A Gourmet Detective Mystery, the new Hallmark movie was directed by Terry Ingram and written by Dylan Neal and Becky Southwell. It stars Brooke Burns as Maggie Price, Dylan Neal as Henry Price, Aaron Douglas as Frank, Samantha Ferris as Captain Forsyth, Camille Sullivan as Sara, Ali Skovbye as Abigail, Matthew Kevin Anderson as Munro, Christine Willes as Doris, Chris William Martin as Steve, and Jordana Largy as Claudia, as stated on IMDb.

Gourmet Detective: Death Al Dente Movie Synopsis

Henry Ross, a world-renown chef and food blogger, teams up with police detective Maggie Price to help solve the latest crime in San Francisco. This time, a restaurant owner is gunned down in his own kitchen. Before Henry and Maggie can solve the case, a local news reporter is also found murdered.

As they piece the mystery puzzle together, Henry finds out that the victim, his close friend, may have kept an old secret, one that may make San Francisco’s top executive chefs suspects.

Things become even more complicated after Maggie’s old flame comes back into the picture, which threatens to snip the budding relationship between Maggie and Henry at the root.

Meanwhile, Henry is looking for a talented Italian chef for the new eatery, and Maggie believes that someone is stalking her to keep the truth from coming out. Before more bodies are served up, will Maggie and Henry pinpoint the killers and solve the mystery?
