‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Chloe Lanier Makes First Appearance As Nelle-Who Is This Mysterious Young Lady?

There is yet another new face coming to General Hospital this week. Not much is known about this character just yet, except that her name is Nelle. Actress Chloe Lanier has joined the ABC soap and will make her first appearance on Monday, August 8.

It looks like it will be quite a surprise when Nelle makes her way to Port Charles. She will first be seen barging into Bobbie Spencer’s birthday party where many are helping her celebrate. According to a spoiler by TV Source Magazine, a young woman will crash the party and she is expected to be this girl named Nelle. What does she want and why show up at the party unexpectedly?

The birthday celebration is being held at Carly and Sonny’s house, so this girl may be seeking out Carly, not Bobbie. There are a couple of possibilities on who she is and why she has come to Port Charles. The first thought is that Nelle could be a relative since actress Chloe Lanier did portray a young Patricia Spencer last year. The General Hospital execs were so impressed by her acting that they decided to invite her back as a brand new character.

Nelle could very well be Patricia’s long lost daughter, which would make her Valerie’s sister. She may show up to seek out the Spencer family. However, as Celebrity Dirty Laundry pointed out, this young lady could have something to do with Josslyn’s kidney donor story on General Hospital. Considering that Carly has been involved in trying to find the mysterious donor, this is a very likely possibility.

Remember that Curtis is pretty sure that he had found the donor and Nina had contacted that person right before Carly told Nina to halt the search. Could that person’s name on that list be Nelle? Jax has threatened to take Carly to court over this, and now she is scared that she will lose Josslyn to her ex. But now that the possible donor has been contacted, there is a good possibility that they will show up.

On Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital, Bobbie’s party will be interrupted. According to Soaps She Knows, there is expected to be some big news and the guests could be quite surprised by whatever it may be. Does Nelle announce that she is Jossyln’s kidney donor? Or does she say that she is a relative of some sort?

Actually, it could be both. It looks like Jax has something to do with this story line. He is in town for a reason and that is to make sure that Carly doesn’t find out where their daughter’s kidney came from. One speculation could be that he somehow found this girl who is related to his ex-wife and mother-in-law, Bobbie, which is why she was a perfect match for Josslyn.

Nelle could also be someone else totally not related to the Spencer family. If the General Hospital writers are making it so that she is a Spencer, then Bobbie should react quite surprised since she will look exactly like her sister Patricia when she was younger. They may just go the same way they have with Michael Easton and bring her in as someone not related to their previous story line. Easton had played the character of Silas Clay until he was murdered. Fans were so unhappy about it that it was announced a few months later that Easton would be back, but this time as Dr. Hamilton Finn, someone completely different but with the same face.

It will be great to have Chloe Lanier back on General Hospital. If she will be anything like she was portraying the role of a young Patricia Spencer, then viewers may be in for a treat.
