Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie: The Truth Beneath The Rumors Of A Marriage In Turmoil
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been the subject of rumors lately that circulate around the couple’s reportedly tumultuous relationship at the moment. The pair allegedly does not see eye-to-eye on a number of issues, and there has most recently been talk of an affair that supposedly occurred between Pitt and Marion Cotillard of Allied.

The allegations have been churned out by a number of tabloids, which aren’t exactly the most reliable of sources at all times. However, the continuous focus on the couple’s marriage woes causes anyone to wonder as to whether there might be some truth to the claims or not.
Gossip about the star couple possibly heading for a divorce has been intensified by the rumors about Pitt saving co-star Cotillard from drowning while the two shot a scene for their upcoming movie. This reportedly led to the two becoming close and engaging in an affair.

The International Business Times shares that the supposed incident happened while Pitt and Cotillard were shooting a scene on a small raft off Spain’s Gran Canaria island when “a freak wave smashed the tiny craft.”
The publication went on to relay details about this supposed intense event.
“Marion went under instantly, but gallant Brad – even though weighed down by a heavy suit – dove deep, and rescued his diva as the crew chanted, ‘Vive le Americain!'”
As romantic as it all sounds, the celebrity gossip policing site did their digging and have of course ruled the scenario out as being factual. Gallant Brad, therefore, did not pull Marion from the waters of Spain. As for the reports of an affair, the tabloid insists that whether it occurred or not, Jolie is not trusting of Pitt and claims that the affair must have happened.
Gossip Cop stamps out this claim entirely by getting the story straight.
“The outlet then goes on to recycle the same old bogus story that Pitt may have cheated on Jolie with his Allied co-star Marion Cotillard, adding that even if he didn’t, Jolie believes it to be true. The tabloid’s ‘source’ says, ‘The divorce is bound to get ugly.’ Jolie, however, doesn’t believe Pitt was unfaithful with Cotillard, because it never happened. Those allegations were 100 percent manufactured by the tabloids, and are constantly regurgitated without any foundation. The fact that these untruths are repeated over and over should not lead anyone to believe that these false claims are in any way true.”
It all seems straightforward enough that readers would veer toward not believing such reports, yet the tabloids are extremely good at adding shock value which reels readers in every time.
Another outrageous claim that’s being made by a known tabloid, is that Angelina Jolie is so worried about her marriage crumbling that she’s attempting to gain weight to please Brad. That’s right. Apparently, Angelina, one of the most beautiful women on the planet, is too thin to keep her man interested. True? Hardly. Gossip Cop has dismantled this claim as well.
“According to the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, Jolie and Pitt have been fighting over her alleged health issues, which supposedly include'”starvation tactics.’ But the site then goes on to say that Jolie has been ‘piling on the pounds’ lately because Pitt gave her an ultimatum to ‘get back up to a healthy weight or they we’re done.'”
The mother of six is not, in any way, starving herself or piling on pounds. Jolie is simply a busy woman with a number of responsibilities, including working tirelessly for the UN and the rights of refugees. Although not onscreen at the moment, the beauty is taking on more of an active role behind the scenes and is even considering getting into politics.
