Pippa Middleton Goes Steady With Boyfriend James Matthews, Wedding In Sight?
Pippa Middleton and her boyfriend, James Matthews, are attached by the hip! Not only do they live together, they also compete in races side by side, and still they make time to go on dates in London. At this rate, there will be wedding bells ringing for them.
“Pippa Middleton and her hedge fund manager boyfriend, James Matthews, were seen holding hands as they left a swanky Kensington restaurant,” reports Daily Mail. “They were seen walking into Restaurant Ours, where a caviar and avocado starter costs £23, in west London, near where the couple live in Mr Matthews £17million home. Miss Middleton was smiling as she held her beau’s hand, clutching her phone in the other and wearing tight white trousers and flats with a floral blouse.”
This was the first time that they have been seen together since they jetted off to Corsica to enjoy a long weekend in the Mediterranean. In this sighting, they looked as though each of them had just come from work, both in business casual clothes that reflected how they are becoming more and more like each other.
When Pippa Middleton got together with James Matthews after her breakup with her then-boyfriend Nico Jackson, she had expedited a few things in the new relationship. She moved in with James right after the Corsican vacation, only having gotten back together with him for a few months. Pippa and James have dated four years ago, but that did not result in anything significant.
“As the Royal sister-in-law enjoyed a romantic holiday in Corsica with hedge fund manager James Matthews last week, removal men were busy loading her possessions into his £17 million West London home,” reports Daily Mail. “They discreetly moved tables and chairs, dresses, coats, shoes and ornaments into his palatial property from the nearby apartment Pippa had been sharing with her brother, James.”
Moving in with him meant that Pippa was less likely to pursue the broadcasting gigs that she was negotiating in the U.S. While some press speculated that her giving up journalism may have been from Prince Williams’ encouragement, others have noted that her boyfriend may have played a strong hand in her decisions.
“The Mail on Sunday has established that she has no substantial contracts left and, more significantly, has no intention of taking on new work,” reports Daily Mail. “And the reason for this vanishing act, say friends, is that 32-year-old Pippa has been ‘quietly and diplomatically reined in’ by Prince William, who is understood to have been helping advise her on her future role.”
But she seems happy enough having made races and competitions as her priority. It is indeed a unique take on charity and fundraising, especially coming from an English socialite, who might have been understood to be too delicate for intense physical exertion.
The latest race that Pippa Middleton took part in was “running the Great Wall Marathon in China,” according to Hello! Magazine. The race “took place in 29?C heat and includes some 5,164 steps,” but she still managed to finish it in good time, in “4 hours and 54 minutes, making her the 13th woman to cross the finish line and placing her 69th out of 2,444 runners.”
Her boyfriend James Matthews has been so far very supportive of her endeavors, personally taking part whenever he can. He raced with her in the Glacier Patrol race in Switzerland.
If their wedding is going to take place, it may happen right after a race that Pippa will take part in the future!
