Demi Lovato Engaged? Wilmer Valderrama Already Popped The Question, Claims Report
A new report claims that Demi Lovato is already secretly engaged to longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. The former That ’70s Show actor has finally decided to pop the question to the “Confident” singer.
A new report in OK! Magazine claims that Demi Lovato, 23, and Wilmer Valderrama, 36, are already secretly engaged. An inside source revealed to the magazine that Lovato’s boyfriend popped the question by turning their house into a haunted house maze in order to celebrate her favorite holiday.
Once Demi reached the end of the maze, Wilmer allegedly shouted “Boo!” and got down on one knee to propose. The source claims that the former Disney star is in love with the ring that her boyfriend gave and is “thrilled” over the news. The reason why Demi hasn’t been wearing her supposed engagement ring is because it’s currently being resized, but she was spotted wearing a supposed replacement band on her wedding finger at LAX airport on January 23.
The engagement rumors just come a day after Demi Lovato tweeted about her night out with her man. She took to Twitter to share a goofy photo of themselves during dinner.

The couple just celebrated their six-year anniversary last month. Demi and Wilmer celebrated their anniversary by going on vacation together. Lovato posted photos of them playing in the snow and snuggling in bed together. Lovato also shared a collage of her and her boyfriend’s relationship from the last six years. The black-and-white photo was simply captioned “6.”
Because of the couple’s lasting relationship, fans have been wondering when Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama will tie the knot. In a recent report via E! News, the actor confirmed that he hasn’t yet proposed to his girlfriend.
“We’re not engaged. But you know it’s something that I definitely look forward into the future. We’ll see.”
Demi Lovato revealed to a New Zealand radio station that even though she loves her boyfriend, they haven’t made any wedding plans yet.
“I am very, very in love with him. I think — we will probably wait a little longer [before marrying], but — if he asked me tomorrow I would say yes.”
When asked by Entertainment Tonight if she and Valderrama might get engaged in 2016, she wasn’t totally sure on the idea.
Lovato responded with a resounding, “I have no idea.”
Wilmer, the ball’s in your court. Aside from the constant rumors about the state of their relationship, the couple has been criticized for their apparent ten-year age gap.
“Whenever we were first starting to date about like five years ago, because I was 18 and he was 30, people were definitely judgmental. Even my parents were kind of like, ‘I don’t know why someone his age is wanting to date someone so young? After a while, everyone started to see that what we have is real and incredible and very special and we have been together ever since.”
That’s not technically true. In fact, Demi and Wilmer were in an on-and-off-again relationship due to her struggles with her bipolar disorder, body image issues, depression, an eating disorder, and substance abuse. On Instagram, she credited Wilmer for helping her battle her issues when she celebrated her third year of sobriety back in March.
If Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama happen to be secretly engaged, then they will announce it when the time is right. The star has been seen wearing that band on her finger in recent photos on her Instagram page, but it’s also likely that it doesn’t mean anything. What are your thoughts?
