Luke Bryan Looking For New ACM Co-Host As Blake Shelton Steps Down
Luke Bryan is now looking for a new co-host for the ACM awards as Blake Shelton has stepped down. Everyone is used to seeing Blake and Luke do this show together. The thing is nobody seems to know why Blake isn’t doing the show this time around. Taste of Country shared the news that Luke is now looking for someone to replace Blake and even made a cute little video about it.
The clip starts out with Luke acting like he is on the phone with Blake Shelton and finding out the news that he won’t be hosting with him this year. Luke then realizes that he has to find someone to replace him. Of course, this isn’t Luke’s job, but with Blake Shelton gone, he is on a mission to find the perfect co-host. Luke shares that he is looking for someone that loves country, but he wants to be a little better looking than they are like he was when Blake Shelton co-hosted the event. Luke is then given a beer to drink and you hear Dierks Bentley tell him to “tip it on back and you’ll find your answer.” There is also a dog hanging out at the bar that looks just like Dierk’s dog Jake.

The 51st annual awards will happen in April, so of course, Luke Bryan has some time to replace Blake Shelton, but it sounds like the decision might already be made. This was supposed to be the third year that Blake and Luke did the show together, but nobody knows why Blake isn’t coming back again. Before they took over, Reba was the one who hosted this awards show. This would be the first hosting gig for Dierks Bentley.
Blake Shelton has been staying really busy lately with The Voice and with his new relationship with Gwen Stefani. Things are a lot different for Blake this year than they were last year when he hosted the show and was still married to fellow country star Miranda Lambert. Now, everyone wants to know what would make Blake Shelton decide not to be the host with Luke this April.

Hollywood Life even shared that it looks like the love between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani is for real and not just something they are doing for the show. They were spotted driving around Los Angeles this weekend and the PDA between these two is off the charts.
Liel Lowndes, body language expert and author of How To Make Anyone Fall In Love With You, shared how it looked like these two really are into each other.
“They look very much in love and thrilled that they have found each other. It’s very understandable after the rocky romances they both have been through. His body language suggests he is warm and protective of her. Their wide open smiles indicate that they’re having a moment of sincere pleasure. It appears he is making her genuinely happy.”
This season of The Voice with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will end this week as the finale airs, but of course, Blake will be coming back next season again. Gwen will be missing from the upcoming season as it is time for Christina Aguilera to come back and take over. Fans are going to miss seeing Blake and Gwen together on the show and watching their chemistry.
