Giada De Laurentiis has a new man in her life, and he’s none other than Shane Farley, a TV executive perhaps most famous for FabLife and The Rachael Ray Show.

As E! Online reports, Giada De Laurentiis has been hinting about the possibility of a new man in her life for the past few weeks, although she’s kept mum on her beau’s identity. On Tuesday, an anonymous source close to the couple confirmed that the two are a couple, and very much in love.

Giada herself said as much — that she’s very much in love with her new man, that is — during a recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show. At the time, she wouldn’t identify her new main squeeze by name, but she gushed about how happy she is in her new relationship.

When asked if she’d found love again, Giada responded, “I’m going to say kind of, and I will tell you, this is the first time I’ve actually said that!”

A couple of weeks ago, it looked like Giada’s sister Eloisa De Laurentiis was going to spill the beans early. She’d posted pics of Giada and Shane together at the family’s Halloween festivities on social media, before taking them down a while later.

While her career as a chef has taken off, Giada’s love life has had its ups and downs. In 2003, De Laurentiis married fashion designer Todd Thompson; the couple divorced last year. They have a 7-year-old daughter, Jade (“Giada” means “Jade” in Italian).

Speaking to Wendy Williams last week, Giada explained how her career in cooking played a role in her marriage, but at the same time helped her get through her divorce.

“I’ve always loved cooking, and I always say that I sort of gained my confidence as a young girl in the kitchen, that’s where I felt the most creative and empowered. What happened over the years working, you get caught up in your world, and all of a sudden my world came sort of crashing and I got divorced. I have a child, so I became a single mother [to Jade]… I took a year of just sort of reflection. Cooking really helped me get through it. It made me happy.”

Since their amicable divorce, 45-year-old Giada and her ex have focused on co-parenting Jade. Speaking to People last Friday, Giada explained that it’s important for both parents to be involved in a child’s life.

“Both parents need to keep the [other] parent involved in what’s happening with the child. So when the child comes back to you and they share these stories you’re like ‘oh yeah, I saw that’ or ‘oh yeah, that was part of that’d you know what questions to ask so you’re both in it.”

As for Giada’s new man, the pair reportedly met back in 2013 when he was in talks to executive produce her talk show with Bobby Flay. And speaking of Bobby Flay, both Giada and the also-recently-divorced Bobby have each repeatedly denied that they’re a couple.

Outside of her love life, Giada De Laurentiis is keeping busy with her career as a celebrity chef. Her new cookbook, Happy Cooking: Make Every Meal Count… Without Stressing Out, dropped just in time for the holiday cooking season. And she has some sound advice for holiday cooking, via the Chicago Tribune.

“I always say it’s a good idea not to do everything yourself. Find out what your family and friends are good at and ask them to do it.”
