No, Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian Are Not In A ‘Nasty Feud’ Over Duchess’ Refusal To Be Her Friend [Rumor]

It’s safe to say that Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton don’t really mix in the same social circles. Sure, they’re arguably two of the most recognizable women on the planet, but one is a reality television star and the other is a part of the British royal family.

That’s why, when a story started to emerge over the last 24 hours that the pair had become embroiled in a “nasty feud” over Kate’s refusal to become friends with Kim Kardashian, it all looked a little suspicious.

Star Magazine blazoned the report over their front page with the headline, “Kim & Kate Nasty Feud Explodes!” while they added the sub-headings of, “Kim & Kanye Turned Away From Palace,” “Kate Snubs ‘Trashy’ Kardashians’,” “Princess refuses meeting – and sends back baby gift,” as well as, “Furious Kim: ‘Norther is cuter than George, anyway.”

All of that sounds like incredibly juicy stuff. However, the problem is, it’s all completely false though, with Gossip Cop having confirmed that Star Magazine made up the entire report.

Gossip Cop has revealed that, after contacting a representative for the Kardashians, as well as speaking to an insider with the Royal family, they were told that it was 100 percent untrue.

Star Magazine didn’t stop there with their assertions about Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton, though. They insisted that the two hugely successful women were arguing because the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wanted to become bosom buddies with the Duchess of Cambridge. It was then revealed that Kate Middleton just wasn’t interested in becoming her friend, though.

A made-up “source” went on to explain to the tabloid magazine, “Kim is obsessed with Kate — she keeps up with her every move. She wants nothing more than to be part of Kate’s circle.”

The magazine then added that Kim Kardashian has repeatedly tried to meet up with Middleton. However, according to their insider, the Duchess just hasn’t been remotely interested in seeing her, even though Kardashian’s daughter, North West, is around the same age of Kate Middleton’s son, Prince George.

However, despite Middleton’s best efforts to keep Kardashian at bay, Star Magazine remarked that this “hasn’t stopped Kim from pursuing her idol relentlessly over the past few years.”

The insider was then quoted as explaining, “Ever since Kate’s son, Prince George, was born, Kim has been badgering the duchess’ people about setting up a public play date between him and [her daughter] North, but Kensington Palace keeps telling her in no uncertain terms that it won’t be happening.”

According to the source, this was the last straw though, as they went on to add, “Kim is annoyed that she hasn’t been able to contact Kate directly and is frustrated with getting the cold shoulder. Kim thinks she’s the most famous person in the world and simply cannot fathom why anyone would not want to be her friend.”

The latter quote especially seems fabricated, while the piece continued with an ever more ridiculous remark from the insider, who insisted that both Kim Kardashian and her husband “can’t believe anyone would treat them like this. They’re completely humiliated.”

Of course, in the real world, Kim Kardashian is actually pregnant with her second child with Kanye West, while the Duchess of Cambridge recently gave birth to her own second child with Prince William back in May, when Princess Charlotte was born.

Kate Middleton has recently returned to work after taking most of the summer to recuperate from her child birth, as she has made numerous appearances at royal engagements over the last few weeks.
