Kym Johnson Wishes Robert Herjavec A Happy Birthday As Couple Revisits ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Kym Johnson isn’t competing as a pro this season on Dancing With the Stars, but the former judge of DWTS Australia made a return to the American program on Monday night. She was outfitted with a headset as she took part in DWTS All Access.

She also celebrated the 53rd birthday of her boyfriend, Shark Tank panelist Robert Herjavec. The two began dating while paired up during DWTS last season and remained coy about their union until after the season wrapped.

Robert also received some birthday wishes from his fellow sharks, one of whom gifted the internet with a throwback picture. Another made a “mistake” about Robert’s age.

Earlier in the day, People reported that Robert and Kym still look back fondly on Dancing With the Stars. Johnson seemed incredulous that only a short time has passed since he was paired with Herjavec, saying, “It feels like a lifetime ago,” while Herjavec said, “It does, but it’s only been eight months!”

Herjavec said he was “very grateful” to have met Kym, while she said, “we’re really happy.”

Robert Herjavec dedicated his time on Dancing With the Stars to his mother, who loved the program. He used the opportunity to push for greater awareness of ovarian cancer, which took her life.

Kym finally confirmed her relationship with Robert over the summer, when she was asked point-blank by an Australian journalist. As the Daily Mail reported, Kym brought Robert to Australia where she was acting as a judge on the down under version of the show. She was reportedly showing her love around the country.

Before coupling up with Kym, Robert was married and had three children.

In addition to celebrating his birthday and revisiting the DWTS ballroom, Robert is wrapping up filming of season 7 of Shark Tank. The season debuts this month. Its companion program, Beyond the Tank, is also coming back.

Dancing With the Stars season 21 got underway Monday night. According to a People recap, Bindi Irwin and Alexa and Carlos PenaVega were early standouts.
