Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Family Waits Anxiously To See If She Was Drowned

It’s been a month since Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away, yet her final autopsy report is still being processed. Bobbi Kristina’s family anxiously awaits the autopsy results to see if any criminal charges will come from her death.

E! Online reports that an undisclosed source close to Bobbi Kristina’s family said that members are waiting on her final autopsy report to see specifically if she was held down and drowned in the bathtub on January 31, the day she was found comatose in her Roswell, Georgia, townhouse.

“The family is waiting on the toxicology reports on Bobbi Kristina. They need to find out of if her head was held under water or not.”

Although a preliminary autopsy report revealed no signs of physical abuse on Bobbi Kristina, the second report is much more in-depth and according to the Fulton County Coroner’s Office, will include medical records, documents, and an intensive investigation.

“We do not plan to complete the death certificate or determine a cause and manner of death until all test results are completed and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed. We anticipate that these processes will take several weeks.”

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office took over Bobbi Kristina’s criminal investigation last month. Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s former boyfriend, remains the primary suspect in the case. Gordon, however, doesn’t show any outward signs that he’s worried. Last week, he flew to New Jersey to visit Bobbi Kristina’s grave site. Family members denied Gordon the right to attend the official funeral services.

Meanwhile, amid the ongoing turmoil surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s death, a family friend indicates that the Brown family are reportedly planning to start a reality show. Bobbi Kristina’s R&B singer father, Bobby Brown, will not be a part of the show.

“They want to be famous. They want to get a deal.”

So far there is no indication as to which members of the Brown family are looking for a reality show deal, but Bobby Brown’s attorney confirmed that the “Step by Step” singer has declined the offer to be in the show.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was found in critical condition on January 31. When authorities arrived, she was barely hanging on to life. A neighbor said that Bobbi Kristina and Gordon were fighting prior to the incident. A witness who was visiting the couple on the night in question spoke out recently as well, stating that Gordon dragged Bobbi Kristina into the master bedroom of her townhouse, and then into the bathroom, where he changed clothes and left her there.

Gordon now faces a $40 million lawsuit, filed by Bedelia Hargrove, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s conservator. A date for the civil trial has not been announced, but it will more than likely take place in Fulton County, Georgia.
