Chris Brown is very happy to be a dad. The R&B singer announced early Saturday that he will be naming his next album Royalty, after his 15-month-old daughter, RapUp.com reports.

Since the news of Royalty’s existence became public, Chris has openly embraced his role as a father.

“I think this was just a blessing in disguise with my daughter because I get a chance to look at her and teach her the right path and also be a father in my daughter’s life,” he said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest around the time the news came out. “Just to see a smile on her face—just to see the littlest things—is emotional for me, so I just love that aspect of being able to be a father now.”

The Royalty album is due to be released and is a follow up to Brown’s last album X, which came out in 2014. Chris Brown shared the news of the album’s name via Twitter and the tweet has 19,000 favorites and 15,000 retweets at the writing of this article.

Royalty’s mother is former model Nia Guzman. Recently, Brown and Guzman have been trading jabs online over how Royalty is being cared for. Chris and Nia are locked in an intense custody battle, TMZ reports. Nia is asking for a huge chunk of money for child support and Chris claims that she’s using their daughter as a meal ticket, The Mirror reports. He voiced his concerns on Twitter. The rant came just days after Guzman demanded that her daughter should only have supervised visits with Brown. But an insider source revealed to E! News that Chris doesn’t want supervised visits to happen and he is demanding join custody.

According to TMZ, Nia Guzman is demanding $15,000 a month for child support. But the decision isn’t final.

Since he’s been out of jail, Chris has done well to keep himself out of legal trouble, so fans are hoping that Royalty will be out this fall as expected.

Chris Brown recently filmed the music for the first single “Liquor” the first single from the album in Los Angeles. Royalty will be Chris Brown’s seventh studio album.
