WWE News: Huge Update On Triple H Versus Seth Rollins, Could Happen At ‘WrestleMania 32’?

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is beloved by Triple H behind the scenes. He is not called “the future” for no reason at all. WWE allowed this to be front and center due to the fact that they wanted to get Rollins over but also make him into a top heel. Plans are to change Rollins soon into an Edge-like character who does dirty things to get ahead but doesn’t take crap from anyone. It was thought originally that this would lead to both The Game and The Architect going at it at WWE SummerSlam.

Unless plans change drastically from now until SummerSlam, the plan is for John Cena to take on Seth Rollins. The believed idea of Rollins/HHH was that WWE would turn one of them, and that would eventually lead to one side getting fed up, causing a rivalry to take place.

According to Daily Wrestling News, plans have now shifted from doing this turn quickly into a long-term deal. This is most likely to help Rollins’ character grow. The feeling is that WWE won’t allow this match to happen until WrestleMania. This very well could mean that WWE is planning for it to happen at WrestleMania 32, or they plan to have it occur at the Royal Rumble or Fast Lane PPV. Neither will be a champion at this point, which will leave them open.

Most believe that this would not happen at WrestleMania 32, as The Rock was set to face off with Triple H as recently as last month in planning. This is still the idea, but WWE could always shift things around depending on what is needed. The Rock is still set to appear, but his match with Triple H may not occur.

There has been a lot of back and forth regarding WWE SummerSlam outside of nixing Rollins/Triple H. A concept early on was to have Seth Rollins take on Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Title in a gimmick match of some sort. There is still some worry that WWE does not have plans totally together for what they want to do at WWE SummerSlam. However, they are pretty set on The Undertaker/Brock Lesnar. Right now, it is the only set match that has little chance of changing around.

WWE still wants to make sure Seth Rollins looks good out of all of this, but the plan as of now is to have him lose the WWE World Heavyweight Title to John Cena. This would be Cena’s 16th World Title win, tying him with Ric Flair. This is most likely going to be made out to be a big deal on WWE programming for some time. It also means that Cena will most likely drop the WWE United States Championship soon.
