Actress Margot Robbie Says People Seem Outraged By Her Age

Actress Margot Robbie recently appeared on Elle magazine’s cover, and in that issue, she discussed a gift that she received from Jared Leto, who will be appearing in next year’s film Suicide Squad. The gift that Margot Robbie received was a rat, which she apparently kept. Margot Robbie said that the reason why she kept the rat was because her character in Suicide Squad would have done the same thing. Not only did Margot Robbie discuss the unique gift she received, but she opened up about how she thinks people are outrage about her age.

Margot Robbie said the reason why she thinks people are getting uptight over her age is because they think she is 10 years older than what she is. According to the Mirror, Margot Robbie, who sported a leopard print and lace on the magazine’s cover, is actually just 25-years-old. Fellow actress Tina Fey, who is also a friend of Margot Robbie, said that the reason why she gets abuse about her age may be because Margot Robbie has already had a successful career. Speaking of Tina Fey and Margot Robbie, the pair will be starring together in the flick Fun House, which is due out in theaters in 2016.

Margot Robbie didn’t really divulge a whole lot of details in regards to why she thinks people think she is older, but as Tina Fey mentioned, she does have a lot of acting experience behind her. Asides from the two previously mentioned films she will be appearing in, she has starred alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood, such as Rachael McAdams in About Time, and Margot Robbie has starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf Of Wall Street, according to International Business Times. Margot Robbie actually played DiCaprio’s wife on that movie.

There were a few other things Margot Robbie discussed in her interview with the magazine, such as how she can rap a song by Lil Wayne, and she actually knows a few of the lyrics by heart. Margot Robbie apparently wasn’t really comfortable with speaking about her boyfriend, who is Tom Ackerley. Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie met on the set of the movie Suite Francaise, and Ackerley serves as an assistant director on the film set. Margot Robbie did mention that he is currently working as a second assistant director, and before that, he was the third assistant director.

Margot Robbie will also be in another movie that will be coming out on Aug. 28, and that film is Z for Zachariah, which also stars Chris Pine and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
