Two Adults Killed: Five Kids In Home During Invasion That Left Two Adults, Believed To Be Their Parents, Dead

Two adults were killed while their five kids were in their home during a frightening invasion in Florida. According to Fox News, the two adults killed were the children’s parents. The incident happened on Thursday morning when multiple masked men entered the home. The children, ranging in age from one to 11, were left unharmed.

“One of the children saw four or five masked intruders in the house, police said, but no further details of the suspects were available. Police said they have responded to ‘several calls’ at the Southern Parkway home over the past several years. Police could not verify the exact nature of the calls, but said they were non-violent and not drug-related.”

The two adults were killed, while five kids, who were in the home, have not been identified.

According to ABC 7, the five kids are currently in the care of Child Protective Services. It has been reported that the children will be released to family members after some questioning. The Bradenton Police Department has confirmed that the incident occurred just before 4 a.m., and that the two adults were both shot dead.

Police are still at the home located around Southern Parkway West, and are looking for more clues to help identify the men who invaded the home. The investigation is ongoing, and will continue until these men are apprehended.

The two adults killed with their five kids in the home was not the first home murder this year. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, four people in Washington, D.C., were “bound, tortured, and killed” back in May. Savvas Savopoulos, his wife, his 10-year-old son, and the family’s housekeeper were found dead inside a mansion that police say was intentionally set on fire.

“All four are considered homicide victims and their fatal injuries were inflicted before the fire, the Associated Press reported. Investigators found evidence of arson,” reported the Inquisitr.

Police received many tips, and had been following up on quite a few leads in the case. An ex-con by the name of Daron Dylon Wint was arrested shortly after the apparent murders. He has since been charged, and police have said that they aren’t looking for any additional suspects.

More details about the two adults killed in their home, and the well-being of their five kids, should be made available soon.
