Jada Pinkett Smith’s Marriage On The Rocks? ‘Magic Mike XXL’ Star Slams Divorce Rumors, Again

Is Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage on the rocks? According to the Magic Mike XXL star, the answer is no.

There seems to be a lot of rumors surrounding Jada and her husband, actor and singer Will Smith, lately. However, they have always proven to be false.

“You’d think people would be rooting for you to stay together not to break up, you know?” Pinkett Smith said, according to Fox News.

“It’s actually good news and bad news. The good news is there’s nothing else to talk about. This has been the only story. Let’s round up the divorce story again! Will and I love each other so much, and our family and our relationship is so important.”

Jada and Will have been married since 1997, and a divorce rumor tends to circulate at least once a year. However, Jada is always quick to defend her marriage and slam the rumors.

“You know what? People gotta make their money and do what they gotta do, you know what I mean? At the end of the day, I realize that too. And if people can go to sleep at night creating those stories then hey, have it.”

Despite Jada being adamant about there being nothing wrong with her marriage, she seemed to fuel the rumors earlier this month when she spoke about their “open marriage,” Us Weekly reports.

“You gotta trust who you’re with, and at the end of the day, I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man. I trust that the man that Will is is a man of integrity. HE’s got all the freedom in the world, and as long as Will can look at himself in the mirror and be OK, I’m good.”

“If your man can’t really see another woman’s beauty how the hell is he going to see yours?” she asked rhetorically, speaking about Will’s crushes.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Will recently revealed that he received his motivation to get fit for his film, Focus, when he found out that Jada had been cast in a role in Magic Mike XXL.

“You got to be a lot of man to handle a lot of woman like that. So I felt really confident when she was going into that set, into that situation. I just had to make sure she had some beefcake at home too,” Will laughed.
