Kanye, North Are Unrecognizable In Kim Kardashian’s Latest Mobile Game Update
Kanye and North are the latest virtual additions to Kim Kardashian’s popular game. Unfortunately, they’re all but unrecognizable as avatars in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

Glu Games, the developer behind the hugely popular Kim Kardashian mobile game, seem to have taken some rather unfortunate shortcuts when it comes to including Kim’s husband and daughter, according to Entertainment Tonight. Kanye looks like the type of generic African-American male stock character you’d find in any such game, and baby North just looks like any other generic baby.
“Had there not been a caption, fans of the famous family may not have recognized Kim’s husband and daughter. The only items that sort of resemble the real-life Kanye in this image are his watch and fashionable T-shirt.”

Kim claims to have put a lot of effort into getting the details just right in the game that bears her name, although clearly she phoned it in when it came to Kanye and North.
“The look of the game was really important to me. I must have pulled thousands of references of all the different ways that characters should have their hair, the outfits and the shoes. One time there was a strap wrong on one of the character’s shoes — her feet weren’t matching. I had to change the programming to fix that. It was important to me that everything is right.”
The mobile app has been a raging success, according to Yahoo News. Since its release last summer — without Kanye and North in it — Kim Kardashian: Hollywood has earned over $200 million. Players assume the role of Kim Kardashian and try to get as famous as possible, posing for paparazzi, working the red carpet, and getting married.
Earlier this year, North’s aunties Kylie and Kendall got in on the action, joining Kim’s game as virtual avatars in an update. The girls will be getting their own game later this year, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Hopefully, their brother-in-law Kanye and their niece, North, won’t be unrecognizable when the sisters’ game hits the App Store.
