Want to See ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’ But Haven’t Seen Any Other Marvel Movies? Then This Infographic Is For You!

Marvel’s latest movie, The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, opened to instant success. According to an earlier report by The Inquisitr, within the two weeks since the movie premiered, it has grossed $312.9 million domestically and $562.4 million internationally. While it still hasn’t quite yet reached the staggering glories of its predecessor, The Avengers, it is still a hugely popular movie.

But what if you have seen the shorts for this movie and want to see it but haven’t watched any other Marvel movie? Is The Avengers: Age of Ultron something you can watch without any back story?

Potentially.

The movie does stand alone and is so full of action that it is a spectacular piece of work to watch even if you aren’t entirely sure who Tony Stark is or why the Hulk and the Black Widow are having such relationship blues. Or are you planning to see this movie because you had heard about the feminist kerfuffle that has erupted around this movie but are worried the issues raised will only be understood fully within the context of having seeing the other movies and knowing the characters more intimately?

Well, now a new infographic has been released recently that will help you get your Marvel backstory straight before you head off to the theater to see The Avengers: Age of Ultron and alleviate any newbie stress you might have going on in relation to this movie.

Hugo A. Sanchez created this infographic, and it not only includes the characters in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, but it also includes their superpowers and any relationships they may have – or have had – with other. Visually it is stunning, but for a Marvel newbie, it is completely invaluable. As well as exploring the Avengers characters, Sanchez also created a section that explains the Infinity Stones and adds a small section at the bottom of the image that includes upcoming Marvel movies. The image does contain a few spoilers though, so if you haven’t yet seen The Avengers: Age of Ultron be prepared to be spoiled in your quest for a crash course in the Marvel universe. However, if you are determined to both enjoy and understand every small detail of The Avengers: Age of Ultron rather than looking like a newbie, then this infographic is the one for you!
