Star Wars Celebration Live Stream, Where To Watch ‘The Force Awakens’ Trailer

The Star Wars Celebration is almost here and we have all the information you need to catch the live stream, starting Thursday from Anaheim, California.

To add to the excitement of fans who gather at the yearly festivities, this year we have the bonus of expecting the much awaited (the understatement of the century) Star Wars: The Force Awakens first full length trailer and official poster. Director J.J. Abrams will introduce the clip and some image(s) on Thursday morning.

From April 16 to April 19, Star Wars fans will enjoy a series of exciting events organizers have planned, but the highlight is expected to happen on Thursday, at around 11 a.m. PST when Abrams unveils that trailer and poster. Interest has been building since the film was announced all those months ago and there is great curiosity as to how Disney plans to move the franchise forward. The studio has a lot to prove to this very particular group of fans.

You will be able to watch Abrams and Lucasfilm President, Kathleen Kennedy introduce the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer at the Star Wars Celebration live stream on Thursday, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m at the Behind-The-Scenes-Stage during a simulcast.

“Don’t miss the big kickoff for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Writer/Director/Producer J.J. Abrams and Producer Kathleen Kennedy will be on the Celebration Stage, joined by special guests. This panel is scheduled to be simulcast to the Digital Stage from the Celebration Stage.”

Aside from Abrams and Kennedy, guests expected to attend are some of the original cast members, including Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine), and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian). Other cast and crew will include stars from Star Wars: Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and the prequel trilogy, as well as several crew members. Harrison Ford (Han Solo) is presumably still recovering from last month’s plane crash and will be missed.

“Star Wars Celebration presents cast and crew from across the Star Wars saga, plus pop culture personalities, artists and writers, and celebrities who love Star Wars. With new Star Wars movies on the horizon, Celebration will be the first place to meet those behind the future of the galaxy far, far away! Guests will be announced right here and be on the look-out for surprise guests, too, as there’s no telling who might make special appearances at Celebration!”
