Ben & Jerry’s Gives Props To Jimmy Fallon With Delicious New Ice Cream Flavor

Ben & Jerry’s is giving props to Jimmy Fallon with a delicious new ice cream flavor, the company announced Tuesday.

And whether or not you are a fan of Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show, you still many want to grab a spoon, because it sounds like Ben & Jerry’s may have outdone themselves with their newest flavor.

Named “The Tonight Dough Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the new flavor is a mixture of chocolate and caramel ice creams. The two flavors are then combined with chocolate chip cookie dough, peanut butter cookie dough, and a crunchy chocolate cookie swirl.

Sounds like the perfect accompaniment to late night television!

Ben & Jerry’s, the Vermont-based company famed for their ice cream, plans to release “The Tonight Dough” on the date that will mark the one-year anniversary of Jimmy Fallon taking over The Tonight Show.

This is not the first time Ben & Jerry’s has honored comedian and late night show host Jimmy Fallon with his own ice cream flavor. Previously, Ben & Jerry’s honored Fallon’s stint as host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallow with a flavor named “Late Night Snack.” That flavor was made of vanilla ice cream shot through with salted caramel swirls and fudge-covered potato chip clusters. That particular flavor was phased out when Fallon became the host of The Tonight Show in 2013.

The Tonight Dough will be sold in supermarkets nationwide, and a pint will set you back $4.89. But the money is going to a good cause. All of the proceeds from Jimmy Fallon’s new flavor will be donated to SeriousFun Children’s Network. Founded by Paul Newman, SeriousFun is committed to creating “opportunities for children and their families to reach beyond serious illness and discover joy, confidence and a new world of possibilities, always free of charge,” according to the website.

Jimmy Fallon is excited about his new flavor and the idea that the proceeds will go to a good cause.

“I love working with Ben & Jerry’s. And I’m not over-hyping; I’m not overselling — we’ve made the best ice cream ever created. It’s so insanely good and I’m just happy to be associated with it. And the proceeds go to a great charity.”
