The Assassin’s Creed movie is eagerly awaited by many fans, and this photo shoot by actor Ryan Frye gives us a taste of what Captain Edward Kenway would look like in real life.
In a related report by The Inquisitr, Assassin’s Creed 5 will definitely not have naval battles like in AC 4: Black Flag. The Assassin’s Creed 5 release date is also unknown at this time, although we do know it’ll be in 2014 and that the rumors heavily hint at Russia being the AC 5 location.
Matt Ryan is the voice actor for Edward Kenway in Black Flag and interestingly enough he sort of resembles the character he plans. But Ryan Frye probably gives him a good run for the money based upon the photo shoot done on site in St. Augustine, Florida, which used to be a port for notable pirates like Blackbeard, Black Bart Roberts, and Calico Jack.
Assassin’s Creed: Movie Actor Ryan Frye Makes Edward Kenway Look Good
Ryan Frye began his cosplay career when he started working with a non-profit group called Costumers With A Cause, which travels to various events to help raise money for children in need. He was invited to join them to help raise money for different organizations like Base Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation. But he also has years of acting experience in plays and he’s planning a new movie:
“I’ve done a lot of theater acting but I’m just starting to break into film. I’ve done a couple web commercials and I’m cast for the lead role in an indie flick that is slated to film this summer. But I can’t give any more details other than that.”
Lately, Mr. Frye has been expanding his horizons like a pirate and has been dressing as Edward Kenway from Assassin’s Creed 4. Because of this excellent cosplay, he’s been asked to do multiple interviews, has been invited to multiple events around the United States, and was even part of a special guest panel at Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con. He’s also set his sights on landing a role in the Assassin’s Creed movie:
“I’d say I’d be a good fit for an AC4 movie based on concept art of Captain Kenway. Come on Ubisoft, let’s make this happen!”
Do you think Ryan Frye would make a good lead in the Assassin’s Creed movie?
