Crazy Public Bench Design Is Awesome [Pic]

When I first saw the public bench design by Israeli Itay Ohaly I wasn’t sure if it was a joke, a conceptual design or a real bench. It turns out it’s a real bench and it’s really cool.

As you can see from the picture, the two person seats are placed at the top of stop lights, offering the perfect “people watching” vantage point” whether it’s the people in the bench watching people below or people below watching the people in the elevated benches.

I particularly like the spiral staircases which allows the benches to fit into almost any amount of space.
