Kim Kardashian is definitely a gun rights supporter, so long as she can get a piece with some bling.
The reality TV starlet tweeted a picture of a gold-plated, diamond-studded pistol over the weekend, sparking tweep outrage. Only a few weeks ago, Kim K signed the Sandy Hook Promise pledge in response to the tragic Newtown shooting. By signing, an individual agrees to honor the 26 victims of the shooting and “do everything I can to encourage and support common sense solutions that make my community and our country safer from similar acts of violence.”
Vague language, but tweeting a picture of a bling’d-out pistol is probably in bad taste at the least. That’s why she deleted it moments later.
The gun: Though the image was quickly deleted, the gun in question was reportedly a limited-edition Colt revolver made in the 80s by Beverly Hills “luxury purveyor” Bijan, reports MSN. The pistol came with a mink pouch and a Baccarat crystal case.
The designer said that it addresses “the need of prominent men among my clientele for a protective weapon appropriate to their lifestyle.” And if the gun belongs to Kim K, she was probably just tweeting it show remind us all of how ridiculously rich she is.
The gun originally retailed for $10,000. Here’s what it looks like:
She’s no stranger to guns either. Kardashian shared a photo of a pear-handled Yves Saint Laurent handgun with the caption “bang bang” and posed with another gun during a skeet shooting trip. Similarly, Kourtney & Kim Take Miami showed Kim take a trip to a shooting range.
Are you a fan of Kim Kardashian? Did you manage to see her bling gun before she deleted it from Twitter?
