‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: Major Character Deaths In Season 7

Game of Thrones Season 7 is currently filming, and since most of the cast attended the Emmy Awards last week, it was a great time to try and get spoilers out of them. While nothing major was confirmed, actress Sophie Turner did reveal that not everyone will make it to Season 8.

According to Variety, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, recently dished about what it’s like to begin the end of the series.

“It’s quite sad. It really feels like things are wrapping up and coming to an end. People are hanging around Belfast a bit longer to be around each other and be in each other’s presence.”

Turner then went on to say she’s glad that the show has one more season to film but added that not everyone in the cast would get to film the final season of the show because more characters are getting killed off in Season 7.

“We’ve got one more season… well, not all of us.”

Judging from her comments, it seems that Sophie Turner’s character, Sansa, will make it to Season 8. However, Sansa has gotten herself into quite the situation. She’s reunited with Jon Snow, whom she believes to be her half-brother, and the two took down Ramsay Bolton to regain Winterfell. This left Jon being deemed King in The North, but rumors are flying that Sansa and Jon may have a civil war on their hands in Season 7 of Game of Thrones and that Littlefinger could be involved.

“You don’t really know what’s going on with her this season. We’re trying to figure out where her loyalties lie and you’re wondering if she is going to pull through and be a true Stark or not.”

Meanwhile, Game of Thrones fans can also expect to see some interesting character interactions. Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays fan favorite character Jaime Lannister, says that many characters who haven’t spent much time together in the past will meet up in the final two seasons.

“We started seeing it in Season 6; characters that met in the first episode of Season 1 are now meeting again and you’re going to see that start happening more.”

Of course, Game of Thrones viewers want to know which characters will be seen on screen together. Fans are hoping that Arya Stark will make it back to Winterfell to reunite with Jon and Sansa sometime in Season 7 and that their only other living sibling, Bran Stark, could make it home as well.

As for the happenings in King’s Landing, now that Cersei Lannister is queen it seems that everyone will be gunning for her. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Euron Greyjoy will set his sights on Queen Cersei, and likely aim to be her king. However, Euron’s niece and nephew, Yara and Theon Greyjoy, have teamed up with Daenerys Targaryen and are planning to help her win the Iron Throne. It seems the interactions between Cersei and Euron, as well as Cersei and Daenerys, could be one of the most interesting things about the final two seasons of Game of Thrones.

Also, now that fans know that Jon Snow isn’t Ned Stark’s son, but the son of his sister, Lyanna, and Rhaegar Targaryen, viewers are hoping that Jon will learn of his parentage and meet up with the only other living member of his father’s family, Daenerys. Many fans believe with Jon and Tyrion by her side, there is no one who can stop Daenerys from ruling the seven kingdoms.

What are your thoughts on the latest Game of Thrones spoilers? Which characters do you think will die before the end of the series?
