Mila Kunis On Ashton, Motherhood And Being Married To Her ‘Best Friend’

Mila Kunis has been all baby talk these days while sharing about life with her toddler daughter Wyatt and announcing she is expecting another little one with hubby Ashton Kutcher.

Her chats have turned to the subject of her marriage with Ashton, in addition to caring for Wyatt, as her recent interview with ET revealed. Mila spoke candidly about Ashton while being interviewed by Glamour for her upcoming cover story in the publication. Kunis spoke on the choice to wait a bit longer to have children with Kutcher, noting that contracts and work kept her preoccupied.

“I took a chunk of time off. If it were up to [Ashton], we would have had kids much sooner. But I had contracts for films I had to do,” Kunis recounted. “I was like, ‘Let me finish this last thing, Jupiter Ascending, and we’re a go. I’m going to take a solid break from acting. And let me tell you, when I would get a call with an offer, I wouldn’t even flinch. I was like, ‘No, I’m pregnant.’ ‘No, I have a baby,'” she added. “I wasn’t ready to go back. I was so happy saying ‘No,’ that I knew it was the right decision.”

Following that solid break, Mila had no problem getting back into working and landing roles in hit films. She most recently wrapped filming for the upcoming comedy, Bad Moms alongside fellow pal and mommy, Kristen Bell. Since Kunis has announced her second pregnancy, it sounds as though another break from the biz is in the cards.

In a number of interviews surrounding her latest film efforts, Kunis was able to share about her own learning experiences since becoming a mother. Never one to shy away from being honest and hilarious, Kunis simply states that kids are crazy, including her own daughter Wyatt.

“[C]hildren are ****ing crazy. They’re also suicidal. Like, at the park, certain jungle gyms have an opening for older kids to jump out of. [Wyatt is] 19 months; she can’t jump. She just walks off it as if she’s on a pirate ship.”

The 32-year-old stunner then went on to note that although Wyatt is her flesh and blood, the toddler doesn’t get her sweetness from her.

“Another important thing to learn is that kids have a personality that has nothing to do with you,” she continued. “I have a really sweet daughter. She wants to hug all the other kids. I didn’t teach her to be sweet. It has nothing to do with me. I’ve realized you can control only so much.”

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher remain one of the most adorable and solid couples in Hollywood today. The two started as co-stars on the long-running show, That 70’s Show, in which they played a couple and parted ways only to realize their affections carried over to real life. The two were married in 2015 after welcoming their daughter. Since then, Mila and Ashton have been building their life and putting family first. The actress was sure to share some comical things the two have learned about one another since tying the knot.

“We can’t bull**** each other. I literally can’t lie to him. He can call me out on everything, and I can do the same, because there’s nothing about the other person’s face that we don’t know. We know when they’re acting, thus we know when they’re lying.”

Mila goes on to say that she and Ashton simply are best friends and know each other better than anyone, which makes for the perfect relationship.

“There’s nothing we don’t know about each other because we’ve known each other for so long: the ugly, the bad, the good. It truly is being married to your best friend. That’s a cliché; it’s cheesy. But it’s true.”
